ya we get it. Some of you hate him, please tell us more and more how you hate him. Hell please make even more lame "jokes" about him. Please we just need to hear them again, one last time.

I really despise the Winks hate. He is one of our own and although he hasn't reached the heights of Kane, he has surpassed virtually all our other youth talent in the past decade.

Skippy is a talent and has a high ceiling, but he doesn't have that Madrid performance in his locker yet.

Walker-Peters, Onomah, Carter-Vickers, Pritchard, Carroll, Townsend, Caulker and even Mason were never as good as Winks when he was at his best, but that injury seemed to change his trajectory.

Although his time is done at this club, I for one wish him the best and think fondly of the brief time when he was our Iniesta.

Absolute top trolling. Nearly had me until the last line ?

Best of luck to the lad. Looked really promising early on but has honestly not been the same since his injury. He's tidy on the ball but always thought best suited as an 8 yet always seems to play deep. Get protection around him and allow him time to pass and he's a good player. Everton are the right sort of level for him and he needs a change.

Everton would be a great move for him. A big club with tradition. Yes they’ve struggled and the manager is still cutting his teeth but he’ll go there and have respect as an experienced central mf. It has t worked out for him here so now is a good time to seek pastures new.

Winks is the deal WLB must have been alluding to when he said Bergjwin might be next out unless another outgoing happens before then which is in motion but might happen quickly.

He'll probably do well for them, more his level/tempo.

Everton fans not pleased though, I mean not exactly an inspiring signing tbf....

Paul O'Keefe says that the Everton deal for Winks is very advanced.

Unbelievable fee if it gets done.

i wonder when we’re going to pay the price for the deals that Paratici has struck with the devil

in all seriousness, hats off to the guy. incredible businessman.

I'm sorry, but if Paratici manages to swindle £20/£25m for Harry Winks then he should be reported to trading standards.

Peak Winks pre ankle injury was a great, not just good player. Some of his performances were top drawer.

Post ankle injury, he was still capable of competence but became much more ordinary, just a water carrier for the most part. Then, after the CL run in 2019 just dropped off a cliff mentally and physically. £20m is honestly way more than I think he's worth, but perhaps he can recover some form and be a success.

People said the same about Alli and he's flopped there (bar one 45 minute half).

Winks just isn't good, at Everton he is still going to be up against the same teams he struggled aaginst for us. Give him time on the ball and if he's feeling confident, he can pick a pass every now and again, but press him, which 90% of PL teams do, and he's awful.

Poor Everton.

It would appear that Everton have learned absolutely nothing from their transfer market failures. I can see why they'd be upset.

i said it in this thread before - he is by far and away the most modern everton transfer everton could ever make.

unfortunately for any everton fans reading this, that’s not a good thing. i can guarantee he’ll be in the championship in 3 years.

Yeah I agree, just trying to find something nice to say about him??

Everton need alot of work and he is most certainly not the answer. Poor feckers.

I dont get all this Winks sarcasm and surprise. He is easily worth 20 mill and will be a solid player for any team outside of Top6. He is just not good enough for Top4 standards.
