Have we qualified for Europe?

Through the carling cup i mean. Arsenal, Chelsea/Liverpool and Everton should all finish in European places this season, obviously its not set in stone yet but if they all did does that mean we get the CC UEFA place, or does it go elsewhere?

God bless you for thinking it, but you have to WIN the Carling Cup to get into the Wafer. Final of the FA Cup is enough. Likewise a finish in 5th. If one of the top 5 win the FA Cup then the finalist gets the 2nd UEFA spot. However if the winner of the Carling is in that top 6, then the runners-up get naff all. That spot goes to 7th spot.

Im sure we were the first club to get screwed out of European place when they changed to this and Newcastle got the spot :|

Yeh, the unsaid rule of cup draws!!!

But we are going to have to beat them at some stage of this competition, or at least one of Arsenal, Liverpool or Chelsea.

Even Everton are looking good right now.

Why not? Only a small proportion is for discipline. An equal part is for being involved in entertaining matches (which we must get high marks for every game). Then there is respect to referees, respect to opposition etc. I doubt we are too far off the op of the fair play. Not that it matters Sweden always finish top and then it is pot luck 2 from 20 odd teams.

We will qualify without the fair play in my opinion.

disagree, for me Liverpool are very very beatable and Everton too even if they are on a run, they probably won't be by January time (form is temporary). Goons and Chelsea will be the most dangerous with their apparent hold over us and confidence in big games.
