Wouldn't be surprised if he makes a move for Lassana Diarra now

i think he prob already has and wud not suprise me at all. think we need another central player anyway cos jenas is absolute cack. as for poster who said jenas was good saturday. maybe he was but its balckburn at home for god sake. in all fairness they did not show much quality did they. lets see how good jenas is against the like of nasri fabregas and diaby etc on saturday when it really counts! i dont think u really want my answer on that one. absolute no faith in that lad at all when he is up against someone half decent. he is type of player who might score but the team getting beat 4-2 or something, means nothing. but the bottom line is he had ample chances and has showed to be lacking. im amazed people want him in against biggest rivals for me on saturday it should be possibly wilson and modric in middle with bale and lennon right but if lennon is not fit i wud play jenas out there instead of that bentley, he is even bigger joke

Jenas normally does quite well against Arsenal. And he's been much improved this season imo.

balls, he's been great this season. Jenas has been good recently though so hopefully we won't feel it too badly. he had an interview recently where he said he'd been playing with an injury for two seasons, and now he was properly fit for the first time. I think you can tell.

It's been an awful season for injuries, can't remember the last time we had so many key players out!

It's a blow, not just for what Huddlestone brings but for general numbers depleted in the medium term as well. However this is why we have a squad assembled like ours and players like Jenas, Palacios and perhaps Sandro should all be good enough to step into the mantle and not only play well but to ensure the TEAM plays well.

These problems no matter how we like to perceive it as injustice solely against us, happens at all clubs and at all levels. But it should still not prove too detrimental in us picking up points as long as the team still functions which is what sets the top clubs apart.

Completely disagree Kd. Jenas has played well when called upon this season and has a great record against the top 4. Wilson has been cack this season even though he was great. Still would play JJ ahead of him.

sad but we've large squad, since Redknapp took over, there are a lot of players benfites from XI starts to go strength to the team, and we can see the first one who started this Huddlestone, who took over CM position from JJ at the start of last season ( as JJ-WP were prefered to him and Zokora in season 08-09 ) .. then we saw Bale take over Bale for some time before Redknapp swithcing him to LM, same to Pavluchenko with Defoe, and recently Hutton for Corluka ..

the stabilitiy in the team ( as Harry don't like to change that much ) helped the team a lot.

what i hope, no more JJ-Modric partnershup .. and i guess we will see more of Bale back at LB and Modric on left, WP-JJ again as they were so good in 2nd half of 08-09.

Just don't think we're ever going to see Bale play LB again. BAE has been solid and Bale's work rate going forward for us has been far too valuable to just give up. Modric+JJ in the mid will be the CL team and be ready to see more Palacios and Sandro in our prem matches.

Our best passer of the ball out for 3 months, this doesnt bode well for that top 4 finish. I hope jenas can step up to the plate.

the timing could have been worse in fairness. If we get defoe, daws, and lennon back in the next few weeks it wont look so bad. and modders is really coming into form.

i want to be positive and want to believe we can get result on saturday but i just cant see how we can get result there.

i cant see him dropping ekotto to play bale at left back. he will play ekotto to mark walcott and play bale further up

if he plays bale on left that leaves modric in middle with someone else but who? when i watch spurs it amazes me how many times spurs midfield stand off midfield players and let them in behind them to play in space and pick a pass. puts too much pressure on back 4. this is where arsenal strive. for that reason i feel it neccesary to play wilson in there and try n do some break up play.

is lennon fit for game? if not i would play jenas right, have energy and speed to contain clichy and help hutton who is woeful defending at times.

i just look at that at midfield of ours and first thing that sticks out is who will score from midfield for us besides bale. we cant expect him toscore every week thats for sure and we need players chipping in with goals. but what options have we got.

i also feel there is case for playing pav in game. despite missing sitter and pen in game we look alot stronger with him in side so maybe pav and crouch up front again?

it will take very disciplined extremely hard working performance whoever plays on sat to get result. i cant see it but i wud so love to be proved wrong

i have a feeling that JJ will slot in 1st of all and do ok, but then sandro will come in for one game and prove exceptional, and it will be like the gareth bale situation all over again!

well i can dream!

As out and out replacement the closeset when on form is JJ, he is on form at the moment, so he plays, and especially as it is the ARSE!

We could well see a rotation of all 3 over the next few months though, especially if JJ does not keep his form up (which lets face it, is not out of the question) - we could also see us reverting back to a 442 with Defoe back in the team and VDV slipping back into a real MF role?
