zlatan is the best player at inter and basicly of serie a, maybe that's why he wants out. he wants to join a team where there are more superstars like him like barca, madrid and chelsea.

most 'stars' at inter aren't what they used to be. you can't blame him for not winning major european trophies while serie a are on a decline as a whole.

So you're saying that Ibrahimovic is a better player than Kaka?

Im guessing your location has something to do with your belief that Zlatan is the 3rd best player in the world.

From what ive seen from him, i think he would barely scrape into the top 50 players in the world.

If i get drunk enough tonight then i will find you 49 players.

Do you watch much Serie A? Ibra is easily in the top 20 players in world football. You don't play for Juve (when they were good) and Inter if your shit. And Jose Mourinho doesn't say your the best player in the world if your shit. He also currently has Barca and Real after his services.

Ibrahimovic is crap. Baring in mind I've only ever seen him play in the CL and for Sweden and every time I have he has looked crap. He looks like a poor mans Berba IMO

Maybe you should actually watch him more regularly then rather than basing your opinions on a handful of games and calling him 'crap'.

Berba is actually a poor mans' Ibra in my opinion, less bothered and with a lesser physique.

It's interesting to see how a player can divide a crowd like this though, he is like the Jenas of world class players.

I'd say Ibra is better than Berba, but both have some mentality issues. Ibra imo has too much pressure on him in the big CL games and isn't able to play his natural game, like how Berba has been effective but still a bit restrained at United and less willing to attempt the sublime.

So Ibra is a flat-track bully, but I wouldn't say it's because of a lack of ability so much as a lack of belief/arrogance. When confident he can be unbelievable.

I think another possible issue is his physique, he's gained much more muscle mass but probably lost some pace and agility since his Ajax days.

I think he was the only player to give Puyol a hard time at Euro 2008 but he could not finish the game.
He is top notch when his mind is right.
Incidentally i think Barca could improve on both Etoo and Terry H.

So we can expect a monster bid from Man City then as well, can we? If he's that good and all.

Dont get me wrong, he's a quality player and it would be good to see how he would do in the Prem, but he's not in the top 5 in world football, never mind the best as some have claimed.

ibrahimovich has won serie a 4 times in a row now, once with juventus and the other 3 with inter. he really has won it all in italy. i really understand it that he wants to move on now.

I didn't say they won't. Good on him if he moves to further his career, he's 27 now and coming into his prime but don't you think a move to City would be a step back, them with no Champions League football? Utd have the Tevez thing to sort out, Chelsea is a possibilty, only Real and Barca could afford him in Spain, but Ribery seems to be the one most of them are targetting this summer.

No they're not.

egg on your face if he ends up in the epl lol.

tevez will leave manchester united and berbatov hasn't impressed enough while c. ronaldo might very well leave finally, so i won't see why he wouldn't be a transfer target for united.

now that kaka is most likely to leave to madrid, zlatan is the most likely player from serie a that ancelotti is after. he wants to leave inter and ancelotti is an admirer.

Egg on my face indeed but Man United are not after him and Chelsea haven't been after him, that may change with Ancelotti on board but at the moment that may be just paper talk.

when ibrahimovich's agent comes forward in saying that those mentioned clubs are after him, all those clubs need to do is deny it and they haven't done so far.

First of all, as a Swede i'm not crazy about him as a person but you can't question his qualities as a player. Most on here just listens to ignorant british journalists that doesn't really have a clue on what happens outside the island called Great Britain. They're stuck in some beliefs that if you haven't done it in England then it doesn't count. We're talking about a league that was played on fields (yes, i liked it back then too) before it became the Premiership.

His stats says it all really;

Sweden

- 56 caps, 20 goals
- 4 Play-offs, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 (i'm humble enough to point to the fact that this shouldn't really happen with 9 million in habitants)

2002 - Came on as sub twice

2004 - 4 games & 2 goals

2006 - Not a great play-off, serious problems with his groins during the whole time

2008 - 3 games & 2 goals, played injured during all games. (knees)

Holland

- Won the league twice
- Won the cup twice

Italy

- Won the league five times
- Won the cup twice
- Player of the year in Juventus 2005
- Best foreign player, 2005 & 2008
- Best player in Italy 2007/08 (Mangers votes)
- In UEFA's offical best team 2007
- Player of the year in Italy 2008
- Capocannoniere 2008/09 (35 games, 25 goals)

Total games for clubs: 272/131

Once again....i'm not trying to raise him to something he isn't.....as i said i'm not crazy about his personalities. But to say he's shit or not so good is just ignorant and....quite silly.

Agents love to talk and I know United aren't usually in the business of denying things every time an agent mentions them
