Dembele training individually with Belgium, so he's probably in line to play in their next match and fuck himself up beyond repair.

Dembele ruled out of Belgiums next game. He's quite the Ledley these days.

Spurs hoping to have Alderweireld ready for the West Ham game, though.

We've heard from Pochettino that Dele Alli is out for a few weeks - but what does that mean in fact? How few is a few? Anyone have an update? Will Alli be ready to take part against West Ham? How about some ITK? Surely ITK isn't all about player transfers?

Never really thought about it but I have to admit, I've always taken 'a few' to mean three:
  • 1 - "A week"
  • 2 - "A couple of weeks"
  • 3 - "A few weeks"
  • 4+ - "Out for a while"

'In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.'

John McCrae. Canadian poet, doctor and soldier.

In Flanders fields...

Very timely, but you should really credit the author when quoting their work. In this case it's John McCrae, although I suspect more people know it as recited by Leonard Cohen.

You're right. The poet should certainly be credited. Canadian, John McCrae, was a poet, doctor and soldier - among other things. He penned the poem in 1915 and died in France in 1918. One, among many, killed in warfare.
