Bassong is a blithering idiot. The picture where he's blowing into the gun he has his 'poorly positioned' finger on the trigger. Obviously safety hasn't been drummed into him (BB gun or not). He also needs to work on his shooting stance. He's is terrible. What a bell-end. Ranger is a bell-end too. Naughton is clearly at the range having a fun day out. Nothing of concern there.

Not my specifications. Just common sense not to have your finger on a trigger with the gun (bb or not) pointing towards or near your head. I guess you disagree. Well if you're ever at a range with a handgun I recommend you don't do it.

Alot of people that go America go to a gun range, as it is kinda tourist attraction. Does that mean all people that go to a gun range are being idiots by shooting a weapon in safe controlled environment with supervision. BTW i am anti guns.
Spot on, when I read the headline I though "what the hell has he been up to?", quite clearly though naughton is at a range whilst bassong isn't. I had my picture taken at battlefield LV when I was there last year, certainly doesn't make me a psycho however.....i'm nearly 40 and don't do Facebook or twatter so don't publish anything about me on line.
bassong is a bell end though and I hope the beak "have a chat" with him.

Going to a shooting range is perfectly normal, same as going to do some clay pigeon shooting. Nothing at all wrong with the picture.

Exactly.

You've got to question whether the Daily Fail would even report this if it was a couple of white footballers being pictured wearing Barbour jackets shooting clay pigeons.

Aside from it being legal and no big deal I don't get the "oh noes they are role models things". He's not posing doing crack cocaine or something. It's guns. Guns are everywhere. Personally I don't like them at all but you can't watch a film trailer these days without seeing someone shooting someone. Just walk past the cinema, Oblivion, GI Joe, all have people posing with guns.

Also weird how person actually shooting people in a state santioned invasion of another country = hero.
Person posing with a gun at a shooting range = the bane of society.

No but they would if it was a couple of Black players in the Barbour jackets shooting clay pigeons, I can see it now....

THOUGHTLESS MILLIONAIRES GLORIFYING VIOLENCE & BLOOD SPORTS
The Daily Mail can exclusively reveal that footballing friends from a city with an extensive history of gun violence, Jemain Jenas and Tom Huddlestone have been caught glamorising gun violence and shooting pigeons at a skeet range in Scotland

Ah but if Naughton was pigeon shooting he'd be accused of poaching & animal cruelty. Can't have a young rich black man enjoying our rich white hobbies now can we!?!

It isn't quite Jay Bothroyd getting guns tattooed on himself to spell out 'LOVE', what a moron he is. Daily Mail have to find something to be offended by every day.

I have a picture on Facebook of me on holiday in sunglasses, a backwards baseball cap and scarf over my face while making gun signs. Lucky i'm not famous.

and with poses like that will only be on a demotivational poster

So let me get this right - the next time anyone gets shot. It's Kyle's fault for influencing them.

Maybe they will give him a double page spread

Like most footballers, they are too dense to think about consequences for their actions.

I get that taking a photo at a gun range isn't like going out in the street and doing it, but when you're in the media limelight and you're supposedly a role model for aspiring young footballers, you shouldn't do this stuff.

Almost as embarassing as watching Ashley Cole's post match interview last night, that guy can't even string a sentence together
