As of Jan 1st, smart money has to be on a League Cup victory.
Two games; one against Championship opponents and the other against two teams we've already beaten.
Obviously not a given, but the best chance in years.

Obviously the league but I love the FA Cup. Embarrassing we haven’t won it for 30 years given our history in the competition.

As long as we don't have "one of those nights" against Brentford, I think the league cup is our best and probably only realistic shot at a trophy.

I agree. The one and only reason Jose is here is to get it over the line ie win a trophy. If we end up potless this season then this season will be a failure.

We will go full strength in that game. If we lose that we will only have ourselves to blame. Not that it will be an easy game but we should progress.

Hopefully although I except not winning the league, but we should be able to finish top four and finishing outside those places would be an underachievement imo.

4 in 13 chance of winning the FA Cup on its own

1 in 13 chance of football stopping so we can fight the Germans in North Africa.
Given all that, I think I'll be happy with anything from the top list.

We have been like this for years, we huff we puff, the threat from us looks real then it gets exposed.
I think it is possible to bag a cup if we are lucky with one of the big Manchester clubs having a day off.
