@JWTelegraph: Alderweireld and Mane having medicals + #saintsfc confident of keeping Rodriguez. Looks like they turned a corner with Schneiderlin stance

.@NBCSportsSoccer believe Tottenham have offered 15M plus Andros Townsend for Rodriguez. #THFC
Probably bollocks since in the article it mentions that we offered £14million+ Townsend and quotes the Independent story and we know that it didn't say that...

Ugh, don't like that we let them get Mane, but if Poch wants Rodriguez this badly then I'm all for it. Feel Mane would have been the much better choice for unlocking defenses with pace and dribbling ability.

I do like J, my issue is that it's going to take an almighty bid for Soton to part with him and he may end up coming here and doing really well, but for the sort of money they will sell for he may always struggle to justify his price tag, this putting unnecessary pressure on him.

It would certainly make sense they'd be more amenable to dealing with us now that they've gotten in Mane.

It's entirely possible we leaked "interest" in Mane to simply speed Saints along, and as such now have more time to work for Rodriguez.
