To be honest though Poch should have been firmer and perhaps also accepted some players we were scouting.
Buck also stops with him at poor recruitment, Levy holds a large share of blame but Poch should have done better too.
Or ultimately he should have walked as at end of his tenure he just didn’t care, you couldn’t blatantly see he couldn’t.
And I’m still very sad how it ended as we should have pushed on under him.

Despite the NDombele injury (and it is frustrating whether its all physical or partially mental) I think its was stupid for Mourinho not to have a DM behind him. ND naturally wants to go out and make something happen. Unless you have other players to step back behind Ndombele its a waste of time frustrating for ND and us.
Everyone else played like crap. So Mourinho is the only one who can take responsibility for such a shambles.
There was definately a lack of balance and shape. Southampton left us few gaps,we left them tons. Moura and Dele spent half the time on the floor. Just a shambles all around

Lets be real here. We won't be competing against the big boys and win the big trophies unitl we get an owner that demands the best and provides the club with the things necessary for it. Jose might be able to get the squad back to the high flying days of Poch but we won't win jack shit with ENIC in charge. Expect more of the same in the forseeable future.

Nothing against Mourinho but Levy made the wrong decision. Mourinho needs money to implement his ideas and we all know Levy.
Pochettinho knew we had to spend and get rid of players but we all know Levy.

If I was the owner after these shambles and the shambles from the last manager I wouldn't give them too much to spend. You think we could get more from the players we have. The truth is we are lacking some balance. Realistically we need 2 players for sure if Dier is not right for the job and for the RB position.
Lo Celso is not looking too good either but we have enough its the defence we need to strengthen 2 players

I just wish I knew what type of football he is looking for us to play. Yes the players are playing awful, but we look such a mess. Nobody knows what to do with the ball when we are in possession and there is zero movement save for Dele who is constantly drifting away from the center of the pitch leaving a massive hole were our 10 should be. This results in players trying to force impossible passes, run down blind allys or pass backwards to then loft it aimlessly up field. I'm not solely blaming Dele for our lack off attacking movement, but Jose needs to sort it out because he has us playing like confused zombies.
Regarding our defence, it's actually pointless getting upset, everybody has known for two seasons now that our biggest (defencive) problem was not having a DM. Until we have one our CBs are going to be constantly isolated. It wouldn't matter who we put in our defence, without a quality DM we will continue to ship goals.
