Think you overlook how much help the 3 in midfield get from their fullbacks
Henderson - Fabinhon - Wijnaldum worked so well cause they have very solid fullbacks who are good both defensive and offensive
Our fullbacks just dont offer as much in attack or defence as the the Scousers
I haven't seen a huge amount of Liverpool but I'm not sure their fullbacks are great defensively. From what I've seen they are both good offensively but TAA in particular isn't a very good defensive fullback.Think you overlook how much help the 3 in midfield get from their fullbacks

Winks and Sissoko, without being hampered by defensive duties that they are unsuited to, would be perfectly good mezzala's in a Jose style 4-3-3.
And a CM of Lo Celso - Good DM - Ndombele would eat them alive.
Right now I would play Sissoko as the CDM and Ndombele and Lo Celso in front of him. Winks is really limited in terms of attack and getting his head up. He can only really short pass and move.Liverpools midfield is really nothing amazing. Henderson - Fabinho - Wijnaldum.
I'd take Fabinho in an instant, the other 2 are solid pros, hard workers but by no means world class.
However their midfield performs its exact function in either getting the ball to the dangerous front 3 or providing cover for the attacking fullbacks.
I think a midfield 3 of:
Winks - good dm - Sissoko
Is not much worse than
Henderson - Fabinho - Wijnaldum
And thats before you add in our other midfielders who have more quality on the ball.
Would compete maybe, if Los Celso and Ndombele settle. Absolutely no guarantee they will. People love playing this game. Until they’ve done it in this league, you just never know. Classic Spurs fans, plotting a team that wins everything on paper, nothing in real life.

On the contrary, I'd go 433 to get the best out of Dele. Head to his thread to see my suggestions.I think Jose is using the best system for the squad but Sissoko can't play in the central 2. He's not actually a centre midfielder as such but more of a right central midfielder which is why it doesn't work in a 2 as he doesn't play tucked infield enough. I think he's best used in the inside right position with the way the fullback overlaps on that side. So I agree he would suit better a central 3 than the 2 but I prefer we stick to the current system with him on the right. Would you go 4-3-3 in order to get the best out of Sissoko and lose the best of Alli?
I think we stick to Siss on the inside right and only play him when we need a more defensive option to cover the fullback. I'd opt for Lo Celso more often than not there though and probably Lamela too.
We're already getting the best out of him now thoughOn the contrary, I'd go 433 to get the best out of Dele. Head to his thread to see my suggestions.
Of course there's no guarantee. There is however a fairly strong consensus that what we're getting at the moment doesn't work and we need to change some stuff around.
For fans the answer is always that whoever isn't playing should play. The line up most fans now think will solve our problems is some version of this:
Lo Celso
non-existent RB, Foyth, LoCelso, Sessegnon
Lo Celso Ndombele Lo Celso
Lo Celso, Kane, Son
Even if Lo Celso, Foyth and Sessegnon have a total of 180 minutes of PL fottie between them, so none of us really know what they are capable of in PL the season, but none the less they are your answer.

That is good to hear.JM was overheard by a friend of mine saying he learned a lot more from yesterday than he had in the previous three games put together. Regarding the players that is.
What he means by that I'm not sure. I guess we'll see in his team selection for Burnley.
