So Toby returns to club on Wednesday, trains Thursday and Friday with videos showing him training on Friday and yet Jose is saying he didn't even arrive on time to train with team by Friday?! Surely Jose knows that such an obvious lie would get called out. What's he up to? Nope. The £100m was on Lo Celso, Reguillon, Doherty, Hojbjerg and Rodon. Bergwijn was in the list for the season before.

They aren't as good as we think they are. Le Celso seems to be a quicker version of Lamela to be me, NDombele isn't actually very creative and really slows our play down. Reguillon has had some good games but Real Madrid aren't going to buy him back based on this season.

To a neutral eye, this seems correct. Every fan has a tendency to overrate their side's players. I'm not convinced that this is a top 4 squad even if you factor out management completely. (And if it is top 4, it's because of two - three at most - players raising the average level drastically.)
