Always unlikely- was nice hoping though. Hanging on to Kane is even less likely now anyway, and it would be a typically poor Levy decision to force him to stay and suffer. Not much to look forward to nowadays I'm afraid.

There's just no point in getting excited or disappointed about potential new managers or signings until we have a Sporting Director. It baffles me how many conversations I've had with people about the new manager I'm going to just chill to the best of my ability until the SD is sorted. Otherwise, I'm just taking up too much time worrying when I could be watching Netflix (the new Jim Jefferies special is excellent by the way, as long as you're not easily offended!).
