Brilliant player but there is no space, if we could create space then I'm all for it.

Fergie and Moyes have wasted his ability, Fergie shouldn't have signed him in the first place.

Does he run around a lot? Shout and scream? Slag everyone off? If not he is no good to Tim...intelligence is not his thing

Constantly played out of position and hasn't really had a run of games to prove his worth. Great player. Intelligent and can score.

He is on £85k a week, so he would need to be a star on our squad for us to pay that type of wages. I do not think he would take a paycut, as he has never made much fuss over forcing a move.

Owen was saying that he's spoken to a lot of the current United players, and they all really rate him and don't understand why he's not getting game time..

All I know is we're crying out for more intelligence and guile in the final third. He's a very good little player and hasn't been used in his best position too much - I think.

Didn't he have a belter of a game when he was used properly in a game last season, scored a couple - was it against Norwich.

I havn't really been paying that much attention to how his career has gone at United though.

These can be the sort of smart moves you can make in the market though, providing you're confident. Very good player who's stock is low due to not always playing in his best position. So if you're going to buy him it obviously has to mean playing him in his best position.

Neither of them have been played in position by the respective teams, Kagawa in particular an odd buy from the start. A more cynical person might say he was procured by Man United purely for exposure in Japan and the Far East and that he was doomed from the start because Rooney was always in his spot, which is a shame as he's perfect for the fast, incisive attacking style that Man United were once great at.
Not purely, but I'm sure that would have been a huge reason why they didn't go for someone else (plus he went for peanuts if iirc). Ji-Sung Park out, Kagawa in. Just like how we've bought Friedel and Dempsey and gone on US summer tours.
