They used to say that Dave Mackay would run through walls for spurs and i think Robbie Keane is going in that same direction

Keano deserves all the praise he gets on this thread, it's still hard to believe that some people on this site wanted to get rid of him at the start of this season. wheare are those people now.

Keane on his way to legend status. Think we should crack out the we all dream of a team of Robbie keane song more often at games. Rather than just theres only one keano song. Wat do you tink

he has been superb for us over the past couple of seasons, grown as a player to take on more responsibility and lead the team as well.
The partnership of him and Berbatov has hellped him as well, bit like it helped Sheringham when Klinsmann arrived.
And to think peole thought he would jump from club to club. Deserves to be winning medals as a spur.

Not mentioning his goals as well...

My username and everything my member account has on it speaks volumes for the best striker we've had in our club for a while, (I know we have berby, but keano has been here longer)

Keano rules and should see out the rest of his playing career here, who knows we may get the Robbie Keane testimonial

I really don't think he's the handful he used to be.

A better goalscorer yes, but great performances?

Well, not really..
Does this mean that you think Robbo got better when he got worse

The 2 guys who sit being me wouldn't agree with the comments above. They hate Keane with a vengance. I had a row with one of them last year when Keane scored against Ars*nal and he said - he scored but he's still a C---.Now they hate him even more cos he stayed and Defoe (who they loved) went.

There's no pleasing some people is there?

So that's two posts you've accused me of saying something that I haven't.

Did I say Robbie Keane had got worse? No I didn't.

All I pointed out was that, even though he is scoring goals for fun, his performances don't make want to crack one off like he's putting in Ronaldo type performances week in, week out.

I'm not slagging him off, I just think there could be more to his game at times because he certainly has the ability.

So what is your point? Are the rest of the team playing like Ronaldo? Are the other team members playing at the top of their games? Can they not improve? If you think that then you have posted in the correct place, if you don't then you have just made a totally pointless post.

What game were you all watching at the weekend? Tap in goal, nothing else. The man has been a goalscoring machine for a while now but don't tell me how well he performed on Saturday, tap in aside he was pretty ordinary throughout the match.
Unfortunately legendary speak involves an element of elaboration. Keep it real, as a goalscorer he has carried us but don't turn that into some eulogy about how well he has performed every match.

I ran a thread around 10 months ago called 'Robbie Keane Spurs Legend'. Basically in my opinion he is. I got slated for this as the majority said I was wrong as he is not a legend ... yet.

For the recored, I think he is a legend.

eh? I'm talking about being a constant thorn in the side of his (or preferably every) defender. All game. Every game.

Like Rooney.

Like Ronaldo.

Like Adebayor.

Like Torres.

Like Berbatov (well when he's in the mood).
