Dortmund already have an excellent midfield, the problem is the majority of them are injured more than they play these days lol

They need a huge turn in fortune otherwise the unthinkable will happen and they will get relegated.

It is excellent, and even with those injuries the players still standing are excellent. The problem for them now is beyond the injuries, it's in their mentality. They're champions, they're not used to this kind of pressure whatsoever. Some freshness in terms of both mentality and energy is precisely what they need. Kampl is a good choice as he'll be motivated he can prove himself at the big time, but won't cost much and isn't used to being a winner at the top level (thus not subject to the same issues the rest of the players are).
