I was asking for players from more established leagues so I can’t really argue with this. Never seen him play so will bow down to others judgement on him. Some quite concerning reports in that respect especially as we like to ruin strikers in modern times.

Had a quick browse of what Milan fans are saying about him.

He's been pretty poor this season, but basically it's not his fault, he's still a good striker, it's just the whole team are playing shit...

Oh dear.

Hopefully we get some ITK on this tomorrow, I find it all a bit too much of a coincidence, how this news has come on the EXACT same day, as finding out how long Kane is out for.

Milik has a far more optimal frame for a target man, is almost Firmino-esque with how he drops deep and links with teammates and is also a good finisher. Much more complete than Piatek from what I’ve seen.
Dembele has played UCL for Lyon and Ligue 1 consistently for a while now, and has never played in Holland, so I don’t really see your point there.
Why does every striker need to be complete? We’re spoilt by Kane, but ultimately only three things really matter. Scores goals? Works hard? Physically up to it? If we’ve scouted him properly and are satisfied he meets these criteria, and are then able to sign him, that’s good enough for me.

You do know my point re Dembele. My point is that excelling as an attacker in the French league is not much different to doing it in Holland, and excelling as an attacker for the best side in Scotland is basically irrelevant.

Pedulla is saying the deal is done and player is flying to england tonight. Marc says he is a tier 2 that would be considered a tier 1 but with the dybala mix up has been made tier 2. Also looks like he is the alasdair of milan so this definitely has legs.

Absolute bollocks. He's tier 5 at best, and it turns out he was quoting The Sun anyway.

I can only go off his stats and what I've heard about this fella, never seen him play.

However, my main question for the doubters, what are we meant to expect from a back up striker?

Origi, Greenwood, Batshuayi, Iheanacho, Martinelli (if you consider Arsenal normally play both L and A) and Jesus. That's what the rest of the league has to offer.

Jesus aside, you can't expect too much.

Pedulla has now retracted his statement and said he was citing the sun.... what else is new :bag:
