Barcelona have been fined €300 for talking with Griezmann without Atletico's permission.

Shame.

Doesn't look like I missed much.

Watched part of the second half, wasn't impressed.

Madrid just don't look like a team at all. Always looking for the spectacular when the better easier option is on.

Money eh.

The Spanish Super Cup tournament will be played in Saudi Arabia in January 2020, the national football association (RFEF) said on Monday.

The four-team event features Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Valencia at the 62,000-capacity King Abdullah Sports City stadium in Jeddah.

Spanish newspaper ABC said the federation would earn between £29-£34m a year from the three-year deal.

But a government official and La Liga have criticised the move.

Spain's acting junior minister for sport, Maria Jose Rienda, said the government would not support holding the competition "in countries where women's rights are not respected".

This is 8 days old, I assume it's going ahead now.

Yeah, it was an old article but the debate continued yesterday as the 'mob' were still angry and the Spanish FA were concerned that the game would cause a riot.
Dreadful and boring game though...

Gutted for Tippier that they didnt win, but delighted that things are going well for him over there.

Apparently Xavi and Koeman have turned it down, and they are targeting Poch.

Be interesting to see if he has the resolve to reject them, if true
I'll be very disappointed in Poch if he does accept it given how much he's spoken about his Espanyol connection and said so many times he would refuse Barca.

It would be like the last bastion of honesty and integrity in football finally caving in, leaving a soulless mess in its wake.
