I don’t get the criticism of the midfield 3 over lack of creativity. Liverpool play 3 solid central midfielders and both create and score a shed load of goals. Son and Kane - 2 outstanding players, Lamela presses and has had a very good start to the season. Then as per Liverpool albeit one game Rose and Aurier were excellent against Palace. Plus we’ve been crying out for more protection in the middle and that’s come at the expense of Eriksen whom was a disgrace during the week.

There is a big differences though. They have clear roles. Fabinho is the defensive minded one- .We don't have that (at least not as good). Then they have Wijnaldum who's the more offensive one, making runs into the box. Then you have Henderson. I guess he's the Winks of Liverpool. In our midfield three, there's not as distinctive roles.

Also, Liverpool have the best wing backs in the league. They pose a threat, ours don't. So they can afford playing three central midfielders and still have loads of creativity. When we play three central midfielders, we lack creativity.
