They’ve also purchased some players who seem like proper pricks who will believe their own hype. Imagine someone like Jackson when they don’t quality for Europe, he’ll want out immediately and he’s bang average.
Can't believe we let this Jackson shit put 3 past us

Ha Jose. Hilarious.

Hope so and hope they got relegated with him.

How about that for the perfect storyline.

Seriously though. If this continues and they do get docked points, next season could be really really rough and like a Leeds scenario.

Lots of players unhappy but on high salaries and lacking character to change direction.

Leeds didnt go down cause they had poor players They went down cause their big players lost fight and desire and became easy pickings for any team who had fight.

Imagine the team talks going into those games "Lads, they don't believe in themselves and arent a team, let's get at them"

Easy
That's an over-simplification. Ridsdale had mortgaged the club of the basis that they would continue to achieve CL income, and when this failed, the finances just collapsed. The better players had to be sold, often at a loss, just to raise cash, and the rest of the squad lost heart. The Guardian explained it well in 2004 https://www.theguardian.com/football/2004/mar/07/sport.features1

Obviously, I still hope that Chelsea end up going the same way...

He is a momumental twat.

He is a typical modern day fan. Never acknowledges where Chelsea came from, and refuses to acknowledge Tottenham's history.

For him, football started in 1994
It started with a 4-0 hammering in the cup final while Dmitri Kharine wore quite possibly the worst black jogging bottom & white socks combo in Cup final history?

Can they hurry up and sack Poch soon, before he gets too deep into them and really ruins himself? If he only lasts half a season then he can at least get away with saying he made a mistake.

Poch was never going to be an elite manager in that sense. He was always like his mentor Biesla, in building teams and leaving them in good stead.

Au contraire. I want him to stay until he buries them.

If they diagnose Poch as the main problem, that'll be hilarious. Their squad is over rated and it's still very annoying that we lost our minds against them. Maybe Nkunku will go on a scoring run and buy them some time, but Poch has major issues there with players who are no longer elite or never will be.

With all their money, Chelsea have had their ups and downs. They finished 10th the season before winning it in 2016/17 for example.

They've always had talented players but have been poorly run from the top and the managers have been a mixed bag.

But looking at their squad right now, I just don't see that much talent. Their players are on such long contracts that big squad changes are difficult though they usually find a way.

They're nowhere near relegation but I see a few seasons of being far removed from the top 6.

Relegation? I wouldn’t rule it out at all!
Lose to palace tonight and palace will be a point behind them in 13th and if that happens they’ll be dropping to 12th which is only seven points off Luton with a trip to Luton scheduled on Saturday.
If Luton win that, which I fancy putting a couple of quid on, then things are getting really interesting down the bottom!

Many said the same about Arsenal 2 seasons ago when they had a bad start.

I’ll quote your post at the end of the season showing them as nowhere near getting relegated.
