To just leave him standing on his own like that is shocking, poor kid!
Chilwell was/is Captain now he's back. That was horrible. Imagine being in his place, should be a life long memory being made, that his parents have paid a fortune for… and instead it is the day his team abandoned him in the middle of Anfield… I think that reflects really badly on Connor Gallagher, too. Captain’s job to look after mascots etc.
Ah so what’s all this guff about Gallagher not wanting to leave because he wants to captain Chelsea at Wembley they were spouting today hahah. The it reflects badly on Chilwell… (and Gallagher because he plays for the blue scum )Chilwell was/is Captain now he's back.
Was probably cheering for Liverpool at that point. And then he had to watch them!
Only its not by accidentShe’s got the Cameron Diaz something about Mary hairstyle
That's horrible - poor kid.
And that's where the similarities end. She’s got the Cameron Diaz something about Mary hairstyle
Well, tough loving, kid...that'll teach him to support a wank shit team.To just leave him standing on his own like that is shocking, poor kid!
Mixed, some want him out, some want to wait to see how he does 2nd season, some think the players are the problem, some think both Poch & players are the problem and some think the club can't afford to pay the 15m compensation to sack him anyway. What they saying on Shed End? Back to Poch out?
They can't afford to sack him. What they saying on Shed End? Back to Poch out?
Amazing news and thanks for sharing. They can't afford to sack him.
I have just spent the morning with a few footballing peeps including a couple of friends
One a very prominent agent and the other an ex financial director of a premier League club. The late breakfast chat was primarily focused on Chelsea on how much of a mess they are in.
Between them they believed Chelsea are somewhere close to £200 million in the red for this season as far as ffp is concerned. With no chance of fixing this in time for the 30th June deadline.
They have a two week gap from when the window opens to submitting their accounts for the season, and everyone knows they are in the mud. No one is going to even give them close to market value for the few players they can actually sell, and it will take a hg fire sale to get them back in line.
Wait it gets better.....
If they get no Europe next season, and with the way they've tried to use long term amortization with high wages to get round it it will leave them in a very similar situation next season as well. It was also brought up that Lukaku and the keeper(whose name escapes me) will also be returning in the Summer and their very high wages will be back on the books.
Sacking MP now will mean his contract still needs to be paid up, plus the wages of whomever else the bring in to replace him and that is far from financially viable.
They have 2 ways of getting out of this mess and both look extremely unlikely.
Firstly they start winning and somehow get into Europe, although only the CL and doing really well in that will help them for next season.
Secondly Everton win their appeal and the point deduction is reduced to a fine setting a precedent. It was however mentioned Everton are using the stadium build and COVID as their main defence of why they deserve special dispensation. Chelsea would need to find an excuse as to why they deserve similar allowances and that is just not going to happen.
TLDR........ Chelsea are fucked.
Happy Days !They can't afford to sack him.
