In general I don’t pay stupid shit like this any attention but what really fucks me off about this whole debacle is the media sucking off the incident for clicks and Udogie’s abuse is getting swept under the rug. That’s a more important issue than a simple mistake.

Fucking crybabies and that moron Klopp need to move on so we can address the real issues.

Emery saying shut up and get on with it now too.

"Before when we didn’t have VAR, there were a lot of mistakes – more than now,” Emery said ahead of Villa’s Europa League clash with Zrinjski.
"Now I can accept some mistakes in VAR. There are only a few… small mistakes. Of course for Liverpool it was a big mistake in the last match against Tottenham but we have to accept because before, without VAR, there were more and more and more.
"I listened to the conversation between the referees, because it’s popular, and they were concerned about their mistake but they couldn’t react. They had started playing again. It’s a mistake. I accept it. Of course, for Liverpool it is more difficult.

"For Jurgen too it’s more difficult but I accept it. I know before VAR came in there were more mistakes than now. But you have to accept it like before if there is a mistake. So no, no (to a replay). You have to accept it like before, when we were without VAR."
It can’t be a genuine Emery quote if it didn’t start with “Good Ebening”.

I can see this 'we want a replay' mantra becoming a proper Liverpool piss take now. Everyone will start trotting it out for the most trivial shit, especially against them.

Rival fans will take the piss for sure during games.

I do hope we see more posts like the Watford one. I'd especially like a few from clubs that have lost games to Liverpool off the back of bad refereeing decisions.
I’d Keegan Love it if they did but they won’t though as no one wants to upset them, too much treading on eggshells when they are involved as too many people don’t want to leave themselves exposed.
They are like the spoilt little rich kid at school whose parents were always up the school complaining when things didn’t go little Jonny’s way.
Absolutely detest the club, their supporters and the amount of ex players who are in the media trying to influence and manipulate things in their favour all the time.

What Jurgen is forgetting is the score was still 0-0 with majority of match still to play.

Technically, there's your replay Jurgen!

I don’t see a way that they will ever live this down. It’ll be stuck to them for all eternity.

As far as I am concerned it’s already been evened out as the goal they got came from a free kick which should never have been given. They need to move on.
However I will reluctantly continue to laugh at all their crying

The most stupid thing about it is that yes, it's a very bad decision but it's the same outcome as any other bad decision and there have been hundreds since the introduction of VAR. It's 100% down to human error but it's no more obvious than so many others and yet LFC and Klopp in particular think they're entitled to something nobody else has had, and nobody else ever expected. They've made themselves look extremely stupid now.

Udogie gets abused & then Klopp sits in a press conference & says Jota didn't make any contact for either booking. So suggesting Udogie dived.

Could we have a match day thread for tonights game vs USG?

I have really enjoyed visiting this thread the last few days, what the opponents are saying about us thread and also the Spurs v Victims FC thread from the weekend. I could do with another place to visit and have a good laugh. There can never be a shortage of threads to laugh at these lot.

Was the racial abuse even mentioned in the press conference at all? Just goes to show the integrity of journalism has always and will always be nonexistent.

They don’t give a shit about the true issues here, we live in a complete attention based economy when it comes to them.

And then you have idiots like Klopp who feed into this bullshit. Not only that, but by saying that about Jota he’s inadvertently condoning the online abuse Udogie received. He should know better, and he’s definitely smart enough to know better.

Fuck them and I’m glad they were robbed of 3 points I wish it could be so much more.

They had a bloke from Anfield Wrap or something like that on SSN and even he was like, let’s just draw a line under this, move on and have a weekend not discussing officials. I must say the reporter looked a little disappointed that the scousers wasn’t going to continue saying it should be replayed etc.

Just saying, they didn’t have 3 points at any time in the game so they can’t have been robbed of them.

I know the officials were the ones at fault and to a certain extent, the video did show they acknowledge their mistake in situ.

But spare a moment to consider the human side of it all. I wonder how they are privately coping with it all, especially the Var ref Darren England. How are their families reacting to their loved ones getting viciously talked about in the press and social media etc.

Imagine you commiting a mistake at work and it's getting viralled and magnified for almost a week. Doesn't help your mental health much, does it.

End of the day, it's just a sport. A sport that admittedly stirs the emotions, but it's also a sport that sometimes forget the emotions of the ones directly involved in it all.
