Wonder if he would take a look at the rashford situation thrown down 50 plus Hojbjerg and see what they do as there is a player in there
Replace Rashford with Garnacho and make that 50 pence and that'll do.

Wouldn't touch Rashford or Sancho in any circumstances. Ange would kill them.

Coming over in a few weeks for the Centenary Shield game V England. I'll make sure I give it a wide birth on your recommendation. Nothing to do with the fact I'm well over the hill as far as clubbing is concerned.:D

Rashford believed the hype and thinks he is bigger than the club. United would be good to get rid of him. Lazy, selfish player who doesn't play for the team. Can see him sinking without a trace.

Yep. What does he have left though, 4 years at £350k-£375k a week?

Chances of being able to offload him on those terms are close to zero.

Do u think it’s an English player thing, a family management thing, an agent thing or a top club player thing, or is it just a personality thing? We have Rashford. Greenwood and Sancho who I think are all every good top players if committed, but all made total cocks of themselves. U have Rooney who IMO was one of best players I have seen in my lifetime, made a cock of himself, twice I think. U have Maguire who let’s be honest was a top tear defender before moving to United. And Walker who seems to need to fuck every hole in the hedge. Jesus wept are these players so separated from reality?

But overall England have failed for decades probabaly having some of the best talented players? It’s quite sad.

I used to go there all the time, it was mostly after 12am after a sesh in the Botanic. It was yes a dirty dirty shithole but their music was only only point. Always thought I was gonna get molested going down the allyway to get into it though. :cautious: Probably why I went, I do recall a good kebab van outside at about 4am though.

Seems like a Manchester United thing to me. At least in recent years. Walker is a bellend but he’s always professional on the pitch. The United players aren’t.

Yep. Walker has been consistently world class on the pitch for the best part of a decade now. Off the pitch is a different matter. He falls more into the Ryan Giggs category (albeit not quite as bad as him).

Rashford is clearly more interested in himself than the club, and that is very clearly evident on the pitch. Has been for a very long time. The arrogant ‘hand talking’ gesture after scoring one goal tells you all you need to know about him - no humility and not willing to recognise that he needs to build his reputation back up properly, which will take a long time. He has ‘main character’ syndrome.

Rashford will fail to meet his potential unfortunately, his performances have been below par for quite some time now and his attitude has declined along with his form it seems.

This kind of behaviour won't help his admirable off the field causes either, why would charities want to be aligned with him if he's being unprofessional and getting shit faced hours before a training session and then calling in sick.

Problem is with the United players. Rashford, Sancho, Greenwood, etc. Is they get given whopping contracts too soon. It’s no wonder Rashford thinks he’s the main character if he’s on £350k a week.

Obviously they need to take a bit of personal responsibility, but I think the contracts they get given are a huge part of the problem.

I wish I knew as I would advise them to stop making the same mistake!

I find it funny that pundits, ex players etc etc still talk about his potential. He is 26 years old and if you looked at our squad at players who are 26/27 the list is:

Richarlison, Maddison, Bentancur, Vicario, Bissouma, Werner & Lo Celso.

We would not accept anyone saying that these guys still have 'potential' because they are already past that stage of their careers. As for key players in our squad he is older than:

Romero, VDV, Udogie, Porro, Dragusin, Emerson, Sarr, Kulusevski. Solomon, Johnson & Skipp.

Rashford is just a run of the mill type wing forward. It makes me laugh that people everywhere have slated Werner for his finishing & composure, so I thought Id do a comparison between the two (I would have done Sonny but Rashford would be laughed out of the room):

Rashford:
League Goals - 80 in 259 @ 3.21 games/goal.
Total Club Goals - 127 in 385 @ 3.03 games/goal.
International - 17 in 59 @ 3.47 games/goal.

Werner:
League Goals - 113 in 315 @ 2.78 games/goal.
Total Club Goals - 151 in 408 @ 2.70 games/goal.
International - 24 in 57 @ 2.37 games/goal.

As for assists, Werner has 92 & Rashford has 74. So for someone as highly lauded as Rashford seems to be, in the media specifically, he doesn't actually contribute as much as a guy that everyone seems in total agreement is a total waste of a player infront of goal. I have just compared him to Werner here, but imagine going a step up & comparing him to the top players in the wing positions:

Sonny, Salah, Mane, Saka etc etc etc.

Conclusion for me: He isn't anywhere near as good as an awful lot of people like to make out he is.

Surely its the club is at fault. Look at our Harry in comparison!

I compare him to Defoe in terms of ability but Defoe was better and more driven.
