There are only two options really, in that either there is some gang related angle and he and/or his family are being threatened/coerced into this kind of thing, or he is the biggest dipshit in the whole of Brazil to try and throw a bone to his mates back home on....checks notes....fucking Paqueta Island.

By the way, bet was placed with West Ham’s own betting & shirt partner Betway - makes this story all the more sweet & bizzare

At first I found it funny that west ham would lose Rice and Paqueta.. But losing Paqueta to a ban.. Including their own sponsor.. On paqueta island is so much more delicious 😂

One Einstein on Kumb seems to think this was all cooked up by Betfair because they don't want the team they sponsor to lose their best player to Man City.
So to Einstein, their sponsor potentially sending their best player to prison with a lengthy ban seems a logical thing to do.

Admittedly we have some thickos on here, but Jesus Christ...

I do hope nobody disagreed with his post if he’s a cherished member of KUMB.

Hopefully that Einstein will realise its Betway that actually sponsor them too.

what’s interesting is what WHam do with the player now. Surely he will be suspended and Betway will not be pleased.

TBF, the “throwing a bone to your mates, even though you have enough money to just give it them” dipshit angle is exactly what the US DOJ allege Joe Lewis did 😂

I can see it now… Paquetta on the phone to his betting mates.

one of them asks, what betting site should we use to put the bet on?

Paquetta looks in the mirror while wearing his Hammers shirt and replies… yawteB!

Thick Twat 😂

Will the direct connection to his home and friends making the bets be enough for a suspension or will they need some evidence showing he communicated and conspired with these people?

I don't know but I suspect they have a pretty strong case if they released his name.
Xhaka's looked nailed on but, they never released his name.

Don’t think the FA, UEFA or FIFA need the proof. They can apply the ruling as they see fit. Might get challenged but that’s different.
In law, they’d have to connect Paqueta to erm Paqueta Island but even that is circumstantial.
