Obviously a ploy by the PR team so next time it goes tits up we dont blame Levy.
Fair, but with a model in which player margin plays such a large part its unlikely that it'll just be a case of operating within spending limits, there will be certain value characteristics that need to be agreed as well.Actually that's quite a bit easier than most might imagine. Levy sets an overall transfer and wages budget and the football men have work within that budget. Once the limit is reach then no further funds are available. This can be reviewed on bi-annual basis before each transfer window so everyone then knows what can and can't be spent.
Did you read the article? Mitchell, Broomfield and Poch still wont have much to do with it. The QPR accountant is now handling the negotiations. If the dealings at QPR are any indication, then well....i need a drink...He will always have to have some involvement due to our model, but I think if this helps the model be less rigid then I'm all for it. Levy has been outstanding on the financial side and needs to trust the likes of Mitchell to do the right thing with the coffers.

No not that she's identifying the targets. But have you looked at QPR's dealings? FFS, they purchased, as much as I love the guy, an injury prone, bum knee Sandro for £10m. Its like going from 1 end of the spectrum(refusing to pay for targets so we get a cheap 2nd option) to the other(overpaying for them). QPR are probably going to be screwed when they get relegated again.I'm gobsmacked you read it and came up with that conclusion tbh.
The QPR finance director would lead negotiations, i.e. the financial side, trying to get a good deal and ensuring we're within budgets set at board level. Something that Levy was previously very active in amongst other things.
Do you take that to mean she will be the one identifying the targets?

Wouldn't be an article about ENIC if YankSpurs didn't get to draw some wildly inaccurate conclusion and just get really angry for no reason...Did you read the article? Huh? The article literally said we "rejigged" Eales role after he left and newly hired QPR accountant who took his place will handle tramsfer negotiations for Levy. Nothing wildly inaccurate about that at all because it was stated in the article. Broomfield, Mitchell and Poch are not getting expanded roles. They're just recommending players to her now instead of Levy. Maybe try working on your reading comprehension before attacking me next time?Wouldn't be an article about ENIC if YankSpurs didn't get to draw some wildly inaccurate conclusion and just get really angry for no reason...
