Aurier, Rose, Eriksen and Dele all need to taken out of the first team squad. I don’t really even wanna see them on the bench.

we went not to lose - and failed

Dele and Eriksen anonymous, and we only really started playing when we were behind

Why not leave the team unchanged to let them build on their confidence and cohesion?

This is a near 12 month slump - the next three games against a dreadful Everton, newly promoted United, and middling Wham will give us better barometer than today's game, but failure to take anything less than 7 points from those games, and the writing will be on the wall

That line up had us 1-0 at HT. BUT he should have seen the warning signs and made the necessary changes to beef up the midfield and attack. Eriksen was a passenger. A couple of changes at HT and this could have been a totally different result.

Good call. At the end when we attacked them they look as fragile as we do

I really do hope we see more of the 4-3-3 especially on the front foot. Ndombele and Lo Celso are made for that formation.

We battled hard today against the best team in the world at the moment. They are so quick in attack, the urgency they show is something we haven't seen nearly enough of from Spurs. Also the difference in quality of cross between their fullbacks and ours is laughable really.

We have a number of positives to take from today and to be honest I think a draw would have been a fair result. I know they dominated so much of the game but I thought we defended well even though we let them in out wide a number of times. It just comes down to one individual who cost us yet again. He gets chance after chance and KWP doesn't cost us nearly as often and gets no chances. It's time for Foyth to start at right back now.

It's absolutely ridiculous and I think the ref cannot have seen it properly. That goes to VAR and it's cancelled. It's clear that Sane blocks Aurier's clearance. Sane is not in possession of the ball
It was checked by VAR. All given penalties are. Just don’t understand how the game is refereed anymore.

Didn't look at forum till finished the match. watched a different match somehow. seems like a crew is on here reporting on what they were looking for rather than what they saw. some negatives to be certain. but not only that. some positives too. also not only that.

Don't get carried away by the last 10 minutes and the score line. Liverpool absolutely battered us and the game could have easily finished 4 or 5 -1

one of the few positives i can think of is that Gazzaniga had a good game.

Watching LFC full backs today goes to show how important it is to have 2 quality full backs. Most of their creativity came from those two and Mane.

We wouldnt have half the trouble breaking teams down if we could consistently threaten from out wide. As it is we create space down the wings over and over and just waste it with terrible crossing.

Our low quality Full backs are our archilles heel but full back positions are the absolute hinge around Poch's whole attacking style

I do not understand why Lucas Moura and Lo Celso are on the bench. I'm not shouting for Poch to get sacked but that today showed why we haven't won away from home since Fulham back in January. Make of that what you will but I'm gutted.

Just seen the penalty and I thought Aurier was unlucky, he did really well to get the tackle in and take the ball then as he went to clear it Mane got his leg in front of Aurier's kicking foot made sure there was contact and made sure he went down, he probably should have just toe poked it rather than kick it but with most other players he'd have had time to get it clear.
Liverpool win with a penalty again go figure.

Great effort from those who play for the badge and the club.

However Eriksen has no place in our team and I am starting to think Winks doesn't either. I really fail to see anything special in him bar being one of our own. He put in effort no doubt but he was all over the place and Gigi and Henderson had their way with him. He simply doesn't work next to Sissoko.

And if Poch wants to keep his job he better learn some in game management. When Liverpool equalized he was glued to his chair and JP was up and shouting to the players. Screams volumes if you ask me. His subs were late as always, his selection was wrong and I have no idea why he made 4 changes to the team.
