It's becoming more and more obvious every game that Poch is clueless about what to do. Not starting Ndombele and letting Eriksen play for 88 minutes with the performance he's had is nothing short of criminal.
I’m not convinced it’s being clueless

Easier to defend a player who lacks defensive capability/ effort when he is giving 100% going forward
I don't think Eriksen wasn't given everything go forward. He was just completely shit on the ball bar maybe one passage of play. Son gets away with a poor effort defensively every game.

Yes, we lost but I saw some improvements compared to previous games. Still cannot understand why Winks and Eriksen were in the squad today. Some subs were left too late to make any positive changes towards how we performed as a team.
What were they? I saw a bloody good goalkeeper between our sticks that made it look like an improvement, other than that I saw typical bullshit from Poch, who was once again caught with his pant's down...No improvement there.

So what part do you disagree with then? We could have been 3 up in the first 30 and the game would have been different, but today we always looked like losing regardless of taking the lead.
You said “today we always looked like losing”

I don't think Winks played badly to be honest. Alli and Eriksen were abysmal and shouldn't be playing. I would rather play Sessengon or Davies than Rose.

I think Pochettino set us up to counter which is a good idea as playing an open game and a high line would have suicidal and we showed a bit more grit than before.

I’m not sure how anyone could argue in Poch’s favour against those who think he’s a bad tactician, if you watched that game.

He decided to play no recognised holding midfielder away to Liverpool. He then sat and watched Liverpool attack Eriksen for 85 minutes and didn’t make the change to give Aurier more support and stifle Liverpool.

He consistently picks incorrect starting XI’s then makes incorrect subs or late subs.

I’d love to know how anyone could defend him after this game?

I don't even blame Aurier, he had a good game but manager sets us up with the right personell he alleviates the pressure of our team and we have more of the ball to turn them around and cause damage.

Time to turn our attention on CL and rotate in the league to be fresh for that (barring a relegation scrap).

He would have not made it to the second half had he of started.

We just needed him to come on early even at the half and then Moura of Lo Celso and have gotten more fluid going forward.
Poch gamble on defence….and lost

Despite my(our) misgivings Poch got our formation and tactics spot on. It was a blow Lamela couldn’t play and Don’t understand why NDombele didn’t start or why he didn’t come on at halftime for Dele who was probably our least effective player.
Once again at Anfield they got the rub of the green. Very frustrating we never get any luck there. Don’t get me wrong Liverpool played well - how many saves did Gazza make? - but I can’t seeing them going the whole season winning games because they get the luck!

We could have completely taken Liverpool by surprise in that second half by getting Ndombele and Lucas on. Klopp would have told them to keep doing the same but raise the intensity.

What does Poch do? Let's wait and see?

He is not proactive enough to win titles and I'm not sure he's proactive enough to get us out of this slump.

Well obviously I don’t think we always looked like losing today.
