What is he exactly, an AM?

Jose really rated him right?

Good news ?
Could see him turning into either a good CM in a 3 or a 10. Very comfortable on the ball but he’s got the tenacity and work rate to play in central midfield. It’s an advantage to him that he’s well rounded like that, he’ll be useful to managers if he goes on loan and it gives him a better chance of getting minutes in the first team for us

Imo he’s good enough to play a part this season. I think he’s top level and numerous top level players of the past have made an initial impact at 18. Would probably take an injury crisis for him to play a part. But in theory he’s a perfect midfield option if you’re chasing a game. It’s interesting he speaks about the midfielders as opposed to the attacking players. For me he’s really an obvious 10 but then we don’t play with an obvious 10.

Really hope he gets some game time tonite, we desperately need a midfielder with some attacking intent to make us less predictable and help get us out of our own half once in a while

Really hope that he gets some minutes in the coming weeks given that he’s now 4th choice CM.

All other top six sides have given teenagers league minutes and players such as Bajcetic, Hall, Garnacho and Rico Lewis have been given multiple starts and been really impressive. Devine and the players above are all born in the same year, 2004.
