I don't think Jose has changed, I think footballers are just so sensitive these days. I think Jose would do well abroad again
Footballers are only mirroring wider society in that respect. It's rendered the stick in the carrot and the stick obsolete, which is actually a huge problem for any leader.

Bad result but some positives, We looked lively and at least did not sit back. Ref was a **** as usual

Looked lively? When? Other than Bale’s bit of skill and shot we spent the rest of the game ‘walking’ around and failing to press City. It was a woeful performance.

Jose has brought in 8+ players. It’s not really Poch’s squad. We were all happy with the summer recruitment. It’s worrying that there’s no real change

There was a total of one (that’s 1) Mourinho signings in our starting XI tonight.

But you know this, because you trot this bollocks out on here every few days, then you get told why it’s bollocks, then you pop up a few hours later to say you hope we lose.

Tiresome.

Whilst I’m on board with that, who the fuck is going to get it out of these players. They haven’t performed for 2 years consistently.

Leicester hadn't performed for more than 2 years and Rodgers turned it around. Not saying it would happen but it proves a different manager can have a positive impact with a group of underachieving players.

This has gotta be the worst team Mourinho has had. It’s a big challenge, career ending maybe?
Not to say we don’t have some great players, but we are so far off from just a few years ago. Sanchez hasn’t worked out, Dier has never progressed, Aurier, Doherty, Moura, Bale etc, just never improved us. Shame. Oh well. I’m off to drink a litre of wine.

The choice is simple:
1. Sack Jose and guarantee failure this season most likely setting us back another 1 or 2 seasons.
2. Keep Jose and give him a fair chance to show us what he can do - and no, he's not had it yet.

Doesn’t really matter. He is virtually guaranteed to make at least one major fuck up every game. Not the only mistake probe defender we have, but you won’t get far as a team with CB’s like that.
Nope and unfortunately 2 of our 3 senior CB's have that same problem, and the other one is getting on a bit.

I said I regretted saying I hoped we lose, was having a bad day. But it’s true mate, we were all happy with the summer recruitment but it’s not worked out for some reason

Does Mourinho always hug every player on the pitch after games or just his last ones?
I noticed this as well. Almost looked like he was saying goodbye, he didn’t even look too angry or disappointed.

To be honest mate you very rarely have anything good to say about the team, so I expect that response. Have a great evening.
