Liverpool paid £40m for Carroll who wasn't as good so it is not entirely impossible .

Suspect the deal would appeal more to Daniel than Harry at the current moment in time .

Harry could become one of the greats if he doesn't move before the time is right .

Kane has already made it clear he isn't interested in moving and Levy isn't one to force a big star out of the club (he only sells the big assets when they force his hand) so there's zero chance of a move happening.

I don't believe Levy would take 50 million he would want more than that.

We have already shown we can make a real mess of spending a windfall. Besides what striker would you spend the money on?

That's it. We are planning on moving 1 striker, hoping to move 2 strikers. Replacing them with new signings will be hard enough. How on earth would we be able to replace the 1 striker we actually desire to to keep?

Man Utd know they can't get Harry this season, but this is the start of the unsettling period.

Beginning of the end maybe?

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they do put in a bid of that sort of size, but it's funny for another reason other than the fact he's happy where he is - anyone else noticed Uniteds owners, every transfer window, continue to broadcast the amounts they have to spend then wonder why they get bent over barrels on the cost of their second choices?

Makes me laugh - if they now go and put in a 30m bid for someone, that club will turn straight back around and demand more, because they now know United have it.

Its something I will always admire levy for - his ability to cloud deals to such a degree, with clauses and random conditions for add-ons, means that when a news source does get wind of it, the sums reported range wildly, sometimes by millions. Means those we're doing business with have no real idea of the sort of purse we have, so can't be seriously held to ransom by other clubs.

He will go soon because money talks in football. We can only hope but lets be honest if you had too play for 50k a week and a club came along and offers you 150k a week what will you do ? We cant match those wages ever it simple. His head will turn come next season if he has a good season.I really hate these big clubs pushing there weight around but i time will come i hope so when we have more money at the club once the new white hart lane is done.

Go on the offensive Spurs!!! Bid 20 Million pounds (or less) for Adnan Januzaj. He would be pretty handy to play the right attacking midfield.

I think the the Daily Star is owned by.. David Sulivan. one half of ownership West Ham . So take this as a swipe / dig at Levy and Spurs.. cos of Ade bid rejected, Olympic Stadium (Karen Brady) etc. Harry Kane will not go to Manure, Levy will not sell to anyone IMO.

I can see Man U walking the league and CL next season.
After all it appears EVERY SINGLE decent player across the whole world is going there if you believe every bullshit story doing the rounds lately.
Drives me fkin nuts.
What we actually know for sure is they're prob losing their keeper, one of their best players, and that'll make them weaker imo.
