Maddison was interviewed by TNT sports and the reporter asked along the lines that’s a nice birthday present for Ange, confused he replied: “is it? He didn’t say anything and he wouldn’t” Brilliant, just a wee glimpse that it’s not all about him and he just gets on with it haha what a bloke. This man and team are collectively the most likeable squad & manager we’ve had in years!
1,000% mate!!!

But the mad thing is what we’ve done isn’t anything that complicated it’s just implement a more possession based attacking style of play, get the good players to adapt to this style of play, sign a few others where we have gaps and off load those not good enough or not with the right attitude and then carry on this path.

This proper reset has been needed for ages but couldn’t be done under the previous 3 Managers as their style of play and recruitment preferences didn’t suit the club at all.

As the fans now sing “we’ve got our tottenham back” 😃

I actually woke up this morning excited about watching us play rather than just being excited about the possibility of nicking a win. And it didn’t disappoint.

Working through the week this winter is going to be made that little bit easier with some fun football to look forward to. Transformative stuff from Ange - I massively underrated the impact he would have on the whole club.

Another classy good humoured post-match interview. How could anyone dislike this fella? No wonder players run through walls for him.

Will you make wholesale changes for the Fulham game?

Yeah we’ll make some changes. We’ve got some guys who are really keen to play and are working hard in training. And the way we play takes a lot out of us. It’s a short turnaround and also another game the following week. We’ll make some changes, but because we want to win the game. That’s why we’re making changes. Not because I want to give guys a game. Hopefully by making the changes we maintain the intensity and tempo and quality of our game.

We were told we had to sit back because we couldn’t defend for the past few years, otherwise we’d lose, and then we’d lose and be told it was our fault.

Within three games our defenders look better and we’re attacking for fun.

This man is the truth.
Tbf we've gone from a defence full of tortoises to a defence full of hares.

Within 3 games we have more than 50pc different defense. No dier, no lenglet, no Sanchez for the most part, no dier, no sessegnon, perisic up the field. Vdv and udogie are transformational.
