I think you drastically misjudge the audience here @Rob. From what I've witnessed their cringe levels have no boundaries. If his name were Dave Foot, no one is calling it DaveBall.
This is the problem with accounts like Hotspur Relaled. If you know to look out for that second L you always check and realise it’s some bellend looking for attention. But if you don’t, it’s very easy to skim past posts and just read the tweet and take it on face value.Come on fellas, I literally said in the post that it’s spoof

We saw at the weekend how quickly that shit spreads and infects the minds of people. Even when it was pointed out as fake news to Ravenspur the other day, he didn’t really care because the lie matched his opinion. So all it did was reinforce that opinion.
Imv that hotspur relaled account is fucking toxic, they might cry “it’s only a joke.” But it’s clearly designed to catch people out and as a result spread false information about our own players and activity. It’s damaging to the club, the team and the fan base’s morale.
Some people don't realise that the word know contains a K either, so mistakes are possible.Exactly. Dont people now the word related doesn't have 2 ls?

What was the lie? I missed that drama !We saw at the weekend how quickly that shit spreads and infects the minds of people. Even when it was pointed out as fake news to Ravenspur the other day, he didn’t really care because the lie matched his opinion. So all it did was reinforce that opinion.

Someone spread the lie that Dier had unfollowed Spurs on Instagram and removed all mention of the club from his social media. What was the lie? I missed that drama !
I find it hard to believe that Ange asked for everyone votes to decide who is the captain. There is no reason for the part of acting by Ange to announce Son is the captain, unless it's all part of content purely for the social video. That I think will be overly cringe (although I do feel the video was kinda awkward) Still, my point is, Ange decides with no votes cast at all. It just didn't make sense for any voting to happen.Presumably that Dier was the only player not to vote for Son as captain.
Mostly because Ange specifically said there were no votes - he was making the choice....I find it hard to believe that Ange asked for everyone votes to decide who is the captain.
It's been here long before those two came along and personally, I blame Jenas.Fuck I hope this scapegoat culture goes. Always around but a nastier streak was brought by Mourinho and Conte and it's still lingering. Just pointlessly mean for the sake of clicks.
I would have claimed it as socratic irony.Ffs my joke ruined by my own grammar
Craig Foster, a former member of the Aussie squad, played for Brighton from memory, before becoming a commentator. Foster had a go at Ange because of the style he was imposing on the Aussie squad, Ange gave him a serve and after we won the Asia Cup, he quit and headed for Japan. He also did brilliantly at Brisbane. Cant recall the precise order of events.
He really is a no nonsense character, who will let the board and the players know exactly what he thinks.
Sadly it won't and it'll move on to Skipp when we sell Dier.Fuck I hope this scapegoat culture goes. Always around but a nastier streak was brought by Mourinho and Conte and it's still lingering. Just pointlessly mean for the sake of clicks.
This is a great start, need to do more with turning that attacking possession into chances though. Our xG from open play was 0.43 compared to Brentford's 1.32.Two brilliant stats here that I heard from TVFTL podcast.
Spurs’ 358 attacking third touches we had was more than we had in any game last season.
And it was also the youngest Spurs team that we’ve fielded since March 2020.
One game in, and Ange has already pulled up trees.
