If Eriksen isn’t staying he shouldn’t be playing, it’s that simple. He’s not a Hazard type player who is too good to bench. He’s hit and miss.
Agreed - the temptation is always going to be there to bring him on because he has the potential to be a game changer but the fact is that he isn't staying. I get the point that someone made earlier that we still don't know much about GLC's capabilities but this is rapidly shaping up to be a season of transition so now would be a good time to give him a chance I would have thought.

N'Dombele has to play every minute of every game. Get him on a special fitness programme or something but the guy must be on the pitch for us whenever possible.

I don't want to see Eriksen play for us again.

GLC will never get up to match speed playing 6 minutes at a time.

I'd personally look to play more players in midfield right across the pitch, potentially even looking at a 4-4-1-1 with Alli behind Kane.

I'm sure there are other things but those are the immediate thoughts.

Sometimes I despair at some of our fans. Can't we just show some patience and acknowledge that the job of turning things around is going to take longer than two weeks?

I'm actually increasingly concerned that we seem to have a full scale rebuilding job on our hands. Poch knew it but seemed to have just lost the will to keep fighting. Jose has no ties to this group of players and will be ruthless in the transfer window. The major difference is that I'm confident he has a plan and I'm convinced that he'll be able to force Levy's hand more than Poch ever could.

But in the meantime, anything more than top 6 this season will be a borderline miracle.

where’s that testicle emoji?

Now that we’ve got our first inevitable loss, let’s go on a winning streak - and make sure Dier, Winks & Sissoko don’t start. And also have Sess on the bench, to come in at some point in our games. Also give Skipp some/more game time to see if he is up to it.

If I was GLC, getting just a few minutes every game with the likes of Winks and Eriksen ahead of me in the pecking order, then I’d seriously be thinking of heading elsewhere in Jan.

I say fucking onion.
I don't know if its a bit of a joke in this instance but I am still surprised at how many people still think his name is pronounced with a H.

I think it's because it's a sound thats uncommon to English. Just as many say "Jo Say" as they do "Ho Say", because the proper one is that "Dje-zeh" type sound that is unlike any other pronunciation people will be used to

Sissoko won't work in a midfield if Aurier is the right back. Sissoko spends 90% of his time out of position because he's filling the holes that Aurier leaves.

Get a proper right back in January and we'll be OK.

Can we put the top 4 discussions to bed now? Absolutely no chance.
So many problems with this team, poor players at the back, poor players in midfield, no fight throughout the side.
The team needs an overhaul, Poch was right. Levy may think he can patch it together with Jose but it ain’t gonna work.

But, but, but. Jose is a born winner (copywright numerous people on here).

it won’t be a popular opinion on here, but hose is a busted flush. He’s out sold Levy. Levy’s had a hard on for him for ages, and hose has just ridden him like seabiscuit.

If I ever turn against Mourinho, I’m definitely going to start calling him Hose, so thanks for that one.

I don't care what excuses anyone can come up with, that was a fucking embarrasing loss. Horrid horrid football.

Bayern Munich was an embarrassing loss. Tonight was a poor performance where we could have nicked a point.
