Thanks for sharing.

Maybe we should ask Chelsea how they feel about it. My guess is they are still nursing a torn up anus.
1 game that. I've lost count on how many home games I've gone too where he's lost the ball, slowed down play, passed backwards/sideways or given away a stupid foul on the edge of our box playing in that position.

I've lost count on how many games I've seen where he's made the wrong pass, not passed at all, wiffed on a shot, passed it straight to the keeper, slowed down our attack, passed sideways, dribbled past three guys amazingly only to pass it back to the middle of the pitch playing in that position.

Not for this thread so I've gone too far already and will say no more after this.

That's why I think he should just be sold

3-0/4-0 to Utd tomorrow is my prediction.

I can see us starting the season quite poorly IMO.

Out of the first 4 games I see us getting 4 points max.

a win against Leicester and a draw against Everton (if we're lucky). That's just my realistic opinion though and i'll probably get grilled for it.

Mike when you do/did the BBC predictor for the season were we always relegated or have we ever stayed up?

De Gea has performed badly in pre season- was actually withdrawn at half time against PSG he was that flaky.
Makes you wonder, they have a lot riding on this game

If LVG has another poor start to the season, the squad could turn on him like they have at Bayern and at Barcelona

It sounds as though he won't be starting Romero either.

Uhh not sure where else to put this tidbit. It's interesting, to say the least. Flies in the face of Lennon not being included in the squad numbers. No clue why the club named Lennon in the provisional squad if they didnt give him a squad number.

With winger Andros Townsend in doubt, Tottenham have named DeAndre Yedlin to the provisional squad for Saturday's EPL opener at Old Trafford. Oddly though, supposedly demoted transfer topic Aaron Lennon has also been included. We shall see what happens when the ball drops against Manchester United tomorrow.

I think the author is a writer for MLS' website but he does run his own blog for transfer stuff related to Americans. Think he has some good connects at some levels. This was posted on his blog.

Would not read to much into either. Lennon is not going to be in the team without a number, and even with Townsend out, Yedlin is unlikely to make the bench at OT.

I agree with you, but it's interesting.

The only reason I'd have for Yedlin being in the provisional squad for this one would be to give LVG something to consider becaue he gave Blind nightmares for days in the Holland friendly. But in the end, it's nothing but that. No chance he's in the 18.

Would like to see a Jan-Toby CB partnership tomorrow and a Rose-Trippier FB back line.
Also think it'd be good to see a midfield 3, as we did in the Audi Cup made up of Bentaleb, Dembele and one other. If Mason is fit, then him, if not perhaps Dele Alli - he certainly doesn't seem fazed by the occasion.
Kane up top with Eriksen and Chadli in behind for me to start with.

GK, Lamela, Pritchard/Carroll, Walker, Davies, Fazio and Wimmer on the bench.

Kane, Eriksen and Chadli should try more from long range because of De Gea's absence. Let's teach LVG a lesson.
