Of course the real irony here is that this entire story is probably bollocks, but you can guarantee that at some point this season, someone (or many someones) will point back to this story, and blame Levy for not signing Gotze as the reason the squad are struggling.

"Typical the club leads us on for weeks getting our hopes up only to fuck us over at the last minute! We had the chance to sign him, and we dicked them around on the fee over a few quid, that's why >insert team< got him and we didn't, fackin' tightarse Levy screws us again!"

Complete make-believe purported as unarguable fact.

He is not good as everyone hoped he would be. I know don't judge a book by its cover n all that, but he looks like primadona and his level has dropped. Why would Bavaria want to sell top player at 24 years old?

If this comes off I will get I Love Daniel Levy tattooed onto my cock, don't do this to ourselves, the idea of him coming here is laughable
I've heard from a reliable source that your cock will only have enough room for 'Daniel' on it.

Don't see this happening.... Unless....

Season long load? Maybe paying 50% of this wages. And then we can sign him on a free next season (if he does well) giving him a decent signing bonus and reduce his wages.

But... I don't see Bayern agreeing to that.

Gotze has quality, but it's a gamble. I rather he go back to BVB and try to mend some broken bridges.

I feel for those who think Gotze move to juve, I want to point out that Juve's success has come from a system that makes no place for out and out attacking midfielders like Gotze, rather preferring to with two out and out strikers, and at least two box-to-box midfielders with wing backs providing width (either in 5 or 4 but their function remain the same). They may go for him anyway, but Allegri has never tended to play with out and out attacking midfielders in any of his jobs, so I suspect they will most probably look to invest the pogba money elsewhere, starting with Matic.

Can't see him going for huge money with one year left on his contract. Bayern want to sell him as they have no room for him and the false 9 thing has not worked out. He wants champions league and everything pointing to Dortmund or Spurs.. £20 million could turn out to be a bargain..

Looking at Bayern forums apparently on German sky, Gotze to Spurs was dismissed as a possibility. Though it could be I missread it because google translate has its limitations. However, some have questioned Sky's reliability because I presume a reporter there once got some rumor about Di Maria wrong. Others think that if Bild wrote about it there is something in it, but many question the extent of our interest. I think....

Also, almost all their fans want him to leave, and some are not convinced he would even be a regular starter at tottenham. Many think he has to get his act together and question his attitude.

He is really not that good. It is not about if we can get him. It's more about if we want him. He is not better than lamela..alli or erriksen on current form. Talent and potental wise..he may be..but application needs poch.
