Watch when players like Lucas get the ball and tell me how that's on Conte?

He's got no idea what he's doing with the ball other than head down and run.

It's like playing with 10
If we can see it, surely Conte can fucking see it and not play him but he does. Although the injuries are mad rn so that must be the only reason

We're set up like a lower league team going to Man City in the FA Cup, and the majority of them are playing like they belong there.

Reminded me of when a Pulis or Allardyce team would come to WHL durung the Poch days, except with no physicality added to the stew.

I'm normally able to find some kind of positive, some glimmer that we could work from in the second half, but that was total domination. The atmosphere has completely got to us, as expected.

Ooh I know one. At least we wont get beat 10-0 on aggregate by Bayern Munich in the next round. There. That's something.

i don't understand how they can be this ultra-defensive unless it's been instructed. i mean, how would they accidentally fall into playing this style?
Too afraid. Afraid of Mourinho, afraid of Conte, when these managers go too tough they are too afraid to make mistakes, they will take the safe route. Then the leaders on field take no responsibility. Yet when we have soft managers like Poch, the players may be soft and no fire. The problem keep coming from the players after all.

View from the Lane podcast yesterday. Included a survey ( small and not scientific) which showed a clear majority in favour of Conte leaving (clearly with caveats ...new manager, Conte's lack of long term commitment, "style" of play and so forth).
Just for info for those yet to listen to Danny's latest.

Cannot wait until the World Cup. Genuinely feel nothing about this game and this team at the moment, Spurs are giving us nothing, why should we care?

I’m watching in the hope the Gil comes on and I get to see a glimmer of hope.

The drop off from our performances last season to now is just staggering. We’ve gone from playing some do the best football in the league to quite comfortably the worst. Conte was given the keys and signed loads of players. What the fuck has happened?
This. Said it earlier too, its bewildering. He will use the excuse that we aren’t ready to compete, but end of last season we looked like a challenger, signed some proper quality but now we look ten times worse.,i have defended conte until now but this pattern of crap football has no end in sight, it’s been a good 15/16 games we look dishevelled.

I honestly have no idea what we could possibly do to rescue both this game, and the generally awful system of play we are constantly suffering through
The first point isn’t right. We’ve rescued games from this type of first half before.

totally agree with second point.

And who the fuck's idea was it to put Moura in a RB position at goal kicks?
