Henry and Vieria were flops in Seri A and spent only a season there, having spent majority of their career in France. Jovetic has not done well for ManC.
Balotelli was not a regular at ManC in case you did not notice.
You missed a lots, fex. Shavchenko, Materazzi.
Anyway, I don't that you and some thinks that background - both football and cultural - has nothing no influence on on-field performances. Fortunately, also in the EPL people are starting to understand what clubs in other big leages understood a long time ago....
I was focussing on forwards. If not I'd say that Van der Sar was awesome and could go on.
Henry was not a flop for Juve, he was played out wide to accommodate Juve's strikers. He was just bought by Arsenal after 1 season. Balotelli wasn't a regular? Who was he up against? Who else would be? Jovetic hasn't done badly either. You can't call him a failure.
