Harry Kane would walk into the shitty German team

I wouldnt go that far. Although I too am doubtful Soldado will 'come good' he is still worth a lot of money to the Club.I hope Soldado can come good, but I'd swap him for Kruse in a heartbeat given the offer and in the context of our current manager's tactics. I honestly don't see any compatibility between he and Poch whatsoever, and don't see why so many think Poch is going to somehow "fix" him. Not saying it won't happen, but just that I don't see a connection there.
Sorry, are you saying Harry Kane is better than Max Kruse? As in, German international Max Kruse. Kruse from Borussia Mönchen Gladbach?

Ok, its food for thought for sure.Absolutely right, financially speaking that'd be a stupid trade. I should have clarified I meant on a strictly footballing basis, with regards to the context of our current squad and impending tactics and no consideration of net values.
You'd rather have Tevez, who's a mercenary pushing 30, instead of a young german international that could lead the line for years to come? I mean, we're not getting either but you're just talking out of your ass at this point. You can't actually believe some of the stuff you type.Just an absolutely pointless purchase, save ourselves the 10m and put it towards a potential worldy left forward rather than a good but nothing special striker. We already have Soldado and Ade ffs, left forward we have... who?
What's the point in buying Kruse for 10m and a 10m left forward when we can just put the 20 towards going for Griezmann, or paying Tevez' wages or something?
You know, a first team player in a position we really need improving, rather than further strengthening one of our strongest positions... It's like buying Schneiderlin but then not selling any of of our midfielders?
We've already got plenty of 7/10's, either stump up for another 9/10 or just don't bother and wait until we can.
What makes you think Soldado won't fit Poch's tactic but Kruse will?I hope Soldado can come good, but I'd swap him for Kruse in a heartbeat given the offer and in the context of our current manager's tactics. He isn't what I would class as young for a footballer. He is 26.You'd rather have Tevez, who's a mercenary pushing 30, instead of a young german international that could lead the line for years to come? Fair enough, but the Soldado of last season was a poor reprsentation of the real Soldado (due to poor tactics, lack of confidence etc). Soldado is actually great at running the channels (as he did at Valencia) and is a hard worker too. IMO, Kruse is a slightly harder working but less talented than Soldado with a few of the same traits. From what I've seen of Kruse he does a considerable amount of attempting to disrupt forward play from the opposition, while Soldado was quite static for the most part in defense this past year. Soldado also isn't the lane-runner who feeds off receiving passes in behind, as Lambert was. I just don't see any tenet to his game as directly compatible with Poch whatsoever.

If we can get the confident Soldado we saw at Valencia, I would take him over Kruse any day.
