We're fucked against Liverpool
Ooof. Going to be painful. I would say we might be game-raising bastards but we've already failed to be even that more than once this season.

A pumping it will be.

My first viewing of Spurs in person this season and I’m in no rush to watch them again. Only positives were Lo Celso, Lamela to a degree and Moura in spurts.

Aurier and Eriksen were atrocious, Son non-existent, Alli stupid flicks, and Vertonghen is finished.

The one positive from Kane being injured is we are forced to play it on the ground. Long ball is no longer an option. This to me exposes the underlying issues we have and also benefits the players who are actually clever in possession. Lamela, Celso, Eriksen, ND will all benefit. I think long ball football is a good option sometimes but only when you have a clever ground game. Having no Kane will force Jose to play players that can move the ball well and in my opinion we are better as a team playing the aforementioned.

Also if sissoko is our injured as well. He’ll be forced to play the technical footballers instead which is only a good thing if you ask me.

There is no pattern or shape of play. We rely on a player to come and save the day. Boro played with 5 at the back with 3 CMs and we still tried to go through the middle. No width whatsoever.
It's down to the manager to sort that out.

There was luck involved but you can’t reach the champions league final on luck alone.

We’re talking about a team which now can’t beat (and is often actively outplayed by) the worst teams in the league.

Poch built the team spirit and confidence, then grenaded it around/before the CL final.

Thought Aurier was our best player.

Liverpool's reserve team play with more belief and intent than our first time, not looking forward at all to next week, our mentality is so weak
