Spurs also wanted him when he was at Porto. He then made progress in the CL and then someone else became interested.

I believe this was well known at the time. So nothing surprising here apart from the fact he mentioned it on the eve on the final! Mind games Mourinho!

Maureen, stop.

Everybody knows you're already anxious, apprehensive and desperate.

Enough.

LoL
He's stopping to every crayzee ass piece of low animal cunning gamesmanship he can conceive of...and that spells he's worried :)

And, yeah, this was pretty much common knowledge. Though I suspect that the two year EPL restraining order (and insurance contract on his head) had a little more to do with it than any loyalty to the dirty Chav mostly glory-hunter grubby Nazi scumbag fans. LoL indeed :)

Never seen him so shook before a big game.

It's fascinating to watch/read on one hand; super stfu on the other.

I've never liked him. Glad he didn't come and turned our players into cheats.
I actually like him (overall). He can actually back up his high level of confidence, unlike some people...*cough*/tim.

Making himself look tragic with all this shit though. Unlike him to reel this shit out on a conveyor belt all day long. Usually it's just a couple of barbs.

So desperate.

We should take heart from it. He sees them as the underdog.

Love how poch is just being cool with it all. Such a dignified manager.

Though I think I would hate it, him being at our club, part of me I must admit is curious to see what he would make of the players we have now.

It's got to the point now that if I see his name in a headline I steer well clear of the article.

All of what he spouts is said for a reason.

The media obviously love him for that but I find it (and him) tedious and boring.

He has a great track record when he gets to spend more money than everyone else in his respective league. Completely different set of challenges would have faced him if he'd have come here. He is "special" because his budgets have allowed him to be, and there is certainly no evidence that he could do it on our budget.

Lol he would turn us down because he has too much love for Chelsea fans? The guy is an absolute mercenary and the only reason he turned us down is because we couldn't offer him his ridiculous salary and the transfer and wage budgets he wanted. He couldn't give a flying fuck about Chelsea or they're fans, if he did he wouldn't be avoiding interviews, a chance to communicate with your supporters and incredibly disrespectful towards them to avoid them like he did.

It certainly helps spending the money but it not just about that, he won the champ league with Porto on a relativly small budged.

Getting Inter to win the Champions League says all I need to know about him.

The guy is a tit, but he knows how to manage a team.
