Cagliari are in trouble financially. Inter were in for him but went for Dumfries who was cheaper. Nandez is already in strike. I wonder us dragging the feet now, is just to keep Cagliari on toes. Given we were interested, possible we just want to see if Cagliari will come down more on the fee.

We had an interest -true, we enquired - true, but nothing further than that or as they mention "current conditions" i assume the price circa 30M which makes sense. Doesnt mean they were wrong, we all know from Fabio's pattern in player search 10 targets per position of priority.
