name me one person you hate with a passion in the football world but respect at the same time. Can be a player or coach.

My friend asked me this, I said Henry until the handball v Ireland, now I can't think of anyone else.

did you mean "allayer"? let me know if you want me to change it or tell me what allayer means

I'd have to say Ashley Cole. Fucking idiot but great left back.

Ronaldo

Cannot stand the sight of him, his fucking smug face, his pretentiousness, nasty little prima donna wanker......but by Christ is he a good footballer!!

Ferguson. Absolutely vile as a human being but as a manager you can't really argue with his record.

Nothing comes close to the Chelsea duo, great footballers but absolute vile human beings.

When Ian wright played I couldn't stand him but I always had a massive respect for what he achieved and even more so now after knowing more about his drive and ambition to succeed.

Oh and Ashley Cole I can agree with as he in my eyes has been in the top three left backs in the world for about 6-7 years but Terry not in a million years, very good player but as well as being an absolute scum bag he is vastly overrated by so many, his one main strength is his courage and bravery but he is not as great as many believe in my eyes.

Van Persie, I suppose. Fantastic footballer, but I can't stand the sight of him. There's something about his smile that just makes me cringe. And he played for the Gooners.

Jack Wilshere

Horrible prick at times but wish we had a player who held that passion for Spurs! Also if he fulfils his supposed potential will annoy me further

This. Being a half-decent footballer doesn't mean you deserve respect, despite being a **** in every other aspect.

I think Ronaldo is a good call. I wouldn't say I hate him, but his pure arrogance does grate on me a bit. Rooney as well, but he's a bit of an obvious one...

Mario Balotelli

Idiot but I respect him and think there should be more characters out there, especially in Germany. Miss guys like Effenberg or Kahn in the past. Balo is not intelligent like them and not so easy to handle with but I often think I would love to see one of these at my teams. If you love or hate him, he can decide important games ...

I think for me it's Roy Keane. Couldn't stand him on the football pitch, nasty thug but as a club captain he was immense and totally dominated the team. Something we could have done with over the years

Ronaldinho for me. I respect the talent he has but it riles me how he has squandered and not made the most of it. He could have been the one people compared to Pele and Maradona, not Messi, but he got fat and moved to Brazil instead. What I would give to have the talent he has. :(
