Yeah I think I was wrong, that definitely looks really nice close up. I hope some of that detailing is visible from a bit further away too! Actually really like the white round collar, for as small a detail that is.

If the away and third are as good quality-wise as that, with what we know about them already they could be some really nice kits.

What's the point? Why should a company change their corporate colours to appease the fans of the football club, which they are paying millions for shirt sponsorship to?
Pretty sure Emirates do it for Real Madrid

Arsenal fans must be well pissed off that their sponsor is in spurs colours….

Hope we wear white socks with it rather than navy ones!
Up until about my 20s i always supported white socks over blue but my taste has evolved and last seasons blue sock look has finally won me over to the dark side (literally).

Any ITK on sock colour? We need to know!

Surely they have to get that Venom yellow colour in somewhere - maybe the socks will be that colour?

Not ITK, but I'm guessing dark blue for home, but then all white shorts and socks for Europe

I can confirm there are socks for each kit.

Emirates' corporate colours are red, black, white and gold. So they don't

Not to be a pedantic tool (and all in good spirits etc) but last year they had blue and fairly sure that's not in the Emirates brand guidelines. If you look at their shirts over the last few years they've generally adapted logo colours to the kit. There's plenty of other teams examples - I'm watching City right now with a navy Ethiad logo on their home shirt and thats not their colour.

Point is that some do it (and with a white shirt) but probably at a £ expense. Also red can be a very important colour in the Far East so guessing it may be more of a deal breaker for AIA. Tbh think it's been made quite a bit worse with the sleeve sponsors adding even more colours.

I mean it's all trivial really, but just a bit of a shame that just because our shirt is white it's seen as a canvas to whack whatever colours they feel like on it. Navy sponsors would make it look so much slicker.

Not to give a wanky response (I'm about to anyway) from my background in branding/marketing :ROFLMAO:

The reason why Fly Emirates, for example, would be more open to changing their logo colour for a football shirt sponsorship is their brand positioning is all about 'personifying your destination' in other words, 'we take you where you want to go'.

No doubt if they were our sponsor, their logo would be in the navy of our liking.

Take your point but without going too off-topic Leeds had 32Red for a few seasons and logo was always in Leeds, not their, colours.

Teams do it but could well be at a cost!

To add to this, these guidelines might be from a brand guide that was developed years ago. For all we know, the current head of marketing at AIA wasn't even around then, so they're just following the guide that was given to them and would be VERY unlikely to push for deviations from it.
