If you were planning to buy tickets for every game individually anyway and are fortunate enough to be able to just drop nearly 200 quid at a time then this is probably an improvement (provided the system can cope with tripple the number of purchases at once). But I'm not sure that's really the case for most people, therefore I can't help but think this doesn't really help the fans at all, but is more a admin cost-cutting exercise for the club, none of the savings of which will be passed onto the fans I'm sure.

Plus they are going to have the money in for 16 of those games by the end of January, which I suggest is much earlier than in previous seasons. Another reason for the club to do it at the expense of fans, especially travelling fans like myself, who won't know the exact date or time of the match, making it very difficult and extra expensive whey having to book flights, trains etc.

I think it'll work out better for you. Just book the ticket, and if it gets moved to a time you can't do you can still cancel if for a full refund. If not, you can book your travel as soon as its confirmed at a lower cost than if you had to wait to see if you'd got a ticket or not.

Seems worse than it used to be... probably a lot more people trying to access at the same time due to 3 games on sale

Completely different experience for me. Started in Chrome at about 9:50, no refreshing, got in 10 mins ago. For the first time at the new stadium I've managed to pay a child price for my child!

You see this what bugs the fucking hell out of me. No offence mate, good luck to you for getting your tickets, but I started at 9.15 on one machine and 9.25 on the other and still no closer to logging in on either.
Its random, not fair. I don't mind queuing, but there is no fucking logic to it at all, and that in my view is unacceptable for an organisation of this size

I suppose the club would say the tickets go on sale at 10 am, so anything before that time is not going in the queue. Don't get me wrong, I am doing exactly the same as you because we think it may help but ........

So with that logic, how does someone who starts at 9.50 get on? My point is its random, a fucking lottery in which case they may as well go back to ballot system and save us all a great deal of time.

I know, I do agree, I'm just saying that the club would probably say that anyone trying before 10am is entering a random situation. I used to start at 9 am but sometimes the game you wanted wasn't available after you got through.

I've been pretty lucky with this system generally , not so much with the ballots, so its best of a bad choice for me.
