Could have had Poch. Could have had Nagelsmann. Could have had Slot.
Anyone we end up with from this point is going to be a massive let down. Great work El Baldo.
Unless it's Gallardo
We had more possesion than them when we played them. That says it all more eye bleeding footballI think from my point of view he is more on the conte spectrum but that is more on perception
Not meant as a criticism of your post but these points were all made about Conte as far as wingbacks are concerned. The club is in desperate need of something fresh and new, not a variation on a theme.Jokes aside, I think if we end up with Nagelsmann or Amorim there will be one positive at the very least and that will be that we haven’t flushed 80m down the drain on wingbacks. I still believe Spence, Porro and Udogie are very good prospects and making the most of them will help the next manager greatly, because our budget isn’t going to stretch to new Fullbacks, GK, CB’s and AM/RW’s. We’ve had Emerson Royal and Ben Davies as our best performers at wingback this season, that says a lot. Amorim would know how to get the best out of Porro for a start and Udogie looks superb going forward, we can still make a good appointment here, a manager that plays a 343/352 and gets the best out of those guys will be on a good path in my view
Nothings certain with Tottenham . What if I was to say he wanted to sell the big boys to recreate the next team and levy said no ! Unfourtanlty if someone wants to come here it doesn’t mean they will always come . Visions have to align . Levy’s seems to have a different vision to every manager out there currently.
That’s the only reason I came in….blimey -the meltdown in here is truly something today...
My nan is better at beating the PR cycle than us and she's been dead for 10 years.Makes you wonder if he's better at beating the PR cycle than us (wouldn't surprise me ). I really liked him and thought he'd be good for us but I will wait to see it play out.
Amorim has previously said he wants to stay at Sporting. If he sticks to that, then the list of managers who have made it clear in the last couple of months that they don't want to be at Tottenham reads as follows. If only we could divine some hidden meaning from this list of names, something that, if enacted, would help us attract managers of calibre to the club. If only...
Slot
Alonso
Conte
Kompany
De Zerbi
Amorim
Nagelsmann
