Maybe he would have, maybe he wouldn't... against Pep. But the football (murderball) at the end was awful, and IF he'd won, he'd have cost even more money to get rid of, as I'm sure it's been suggested elsewhere; it would have guaranteed him a contract extension...

Looking at what he's done to Anthony Taylor last night, the trouble it's caused his family... the violence at the airport by Roma fans, the waiting for him in a car park... the guy is classless and I'm glad he's not our manager.
He’s proved it years ago when at Madrid, he went over to the Barca bench and stuck his finger in a Barca coaches eye. And I mean really stuck it in.
the press like him because he is always a story. He proved again last night that he is a complete tosser. Why Levy employed him , god only knows

Cause we're the 9th wealthiest club in the world and shouldn't be evaluating managers based off their success in fucking Japan & Australia.
If Ange comes in and does a good job, nobody will care where he came from. I'm thinking that somebody who's happy to graft, happy to work with the tools at his disposal, and happy to actually be here is just what we need.

Right but the argument is "well he was at Celtic they spent more than anyone even an idiot could have won with that squad!" but that wasn't the case at his previous stops so those at least proved he can actually manage, no?

Every manager we've been linked with outside of JN has some worry attached to them. They're what we can obtain at the moment so may as well accept it. Until we've gotten back on the upswing this is what we're dealing in.

I think the main thing I would need to come around to the idea of Ange is a video where he talks about his father and the influence he’s had on his career. Anyone know if that’s something we could dig up?

Yes!

There’s another option available now -we’re definitely going to have a ‘big’ manager.

Big Ange or Big Sam.

the ‘young’ pretender vs the man who brought Big to the premier league.

this is what dreams are made of and ‘big’ should be the only criteria for our recruitment.

I have it on good authority that our last target fell through only because we insisted he legally change his name to “Big Slot”.

Just sign the big man up. I think I've been brainwashed by the constant posting of that YouTube video on every page, and I am now convinced of his passion now.

On a real level, I feel he can do a good job here. Yes the Scottish league isn't the best, but what you can see is that he's good at assembling a team to play quality attacking football. At spurs we have better players than what he has at celtic, its just a matter of coaching them his methods of attacking.

I believe we can do really well if the players adapt, and if they don't, I hope at the minimum he is given some new players which will be better than what celtic have in terms of level and quality to be able to implement his methods at a higher level. Philosophies of playing can be applied to any squad, it just comes down to the tools available for a manager to utilise his style of play.
