The players: the training is boring and repetitive. We’re tired and it sucks.

Paratici: [on retaining Stellini] the players don’t have to change habits or the style of training.

Absolutely brilliant. I’m sure they’ll love that. This club is a circus.
At this point I really don't give a shit what the players think, we have left carrot far behind us and stick should be the method with our players.

Preferably metal and with spikes.

I don't care if Kane/Son don't like are new manager. We need to pick a manager who isn't going to take any shit and actually tries to score goals at 0-0. And someone who doesn't go all out defence when we take the lead.

I was not happy with Conte and his style of football, but he was right about the players.

There is nowhere near enough bollocks in that playing squad.

There’s a least 5 managers we could easily employ who suit heading a new project and would play entertaining attacking football. If these idiots in charge can’t decide on one and we end up missing out on them all then I genuinely think I’ll give up on us and just check our full times results out of loyalty to the club.

Having a clean slate might actually be what we need
I get what you are saying but it's quite often a clean slate isn't done the way Its supposed to.

Cast your mind back to 2021.

Poch had gone and Hitchen wasn't exactly pulling up trees. We all knew we needed something different.

Many wanted Campos or Rangnick to come and get us out of the mess but we ended up going down a different path and the wrong one.

A clean slate can only happen under new ownership.

How amazing would it be to have new owners with ambition and direction who then go and get a DOF that fits our club and build a modern model?

Our current ownership always react. So if Paratici is fired, they'll just go and get whoever is available or who Levy thinks can do a similar job yo him.

Then they'll part ways with them when they realise it's not working.

It just seems like the timing of all this is SCREAMING to make the obvious happen and get Rangnick in as DoF and Nagelsmann in as Manager.

👀

There were people touting his success in Sweden two years ago, before he had even a modicum of success at Swansea or Brighton.

Im sure there wouldve been some but u get what i mean ....it wouldve been a very small minority, and probably not for a jump straight to a top 4 job, as shakey as that status might be for us at the moment.

Enrique ruling himself out it seems:

"I would like to go to England to work. But I don't see myself in the Premier in July , because I would like to go to a team there that can do important things and that is very difficult. I would not go to a any Premier team"
He talks like Conte :) ... bullet dodged... the more I think about it, I hope we get a young project manager... if not... then Poch. We know him... I'm tired of the so called big name managers.

Thanks for sharing, and some great insights there. Makes perfect sense and definitely agree that I think our current squad could look way better than they have with this system.

The only things/videos I wasn't able to find were the weaknesses of his system. I assume like most, just turnovers can lead to counter attacks. But I couldn't find if he likes his sides to gegenpress, or fall into a medium block on any turnovers to gain numbers.
There was a vid (the extra inch I think) that did a good analysis of slot at feyenoord and highlighted a weakness that they get the ball to their wide players when they build attacks but it leaves them quite isolated.
will try to find it

Do you really believe that Chelsea are going to ditch Potter after paying Brighton £21.5m to get him and probably having to pay Potter the same amount to fire him? Can't see it myself.
You saw how much money they wasted on players right?!
