I'm still believing there has been a U-turn on Naglesman and a director of football that he wants to operate under......

Slot doesn’t feel like a “fingers crossed” appointment to me. He’s been linked with Leeds and Palace too. It’s not like we’re fighting off powerhouses for him.

Woah hold your horses - have you not seen Leicester fans demanding they get Slot before we do so he can lead their promotion charge?

The Rock?
Aligns with the crossed fingers that already went past the closed scissors position. The board really are playing Rock, Paper, Scissors and the one playing scissors is being aggressive.

My assumption was its more to do with Levy et al not changing their mind again and actually finally committing to someone, most likely Slot. As much as would love it to be in regards to us going back in for Nagelsmann I honestly wouldn't get your hopes up. The timing of Slot winning the league is too coincidental IMO.
It's more than that imo. I'm guessing he wants to go on Saturday and doesn't fancy being lynched and that has pushed this forward. The club is very aware they are in a PR abyss right now, and it's not going away. Every day another prominent Journo is putting the boot in. From my side Munn has had a chance to speak to Slot personally about things now and it was all very positive. This makes a difference from it just being the usual suspects all pushing their own idiotic agenda on his ear.

Was still things to iron out last I heard and well, it is Daniel, but things are/were on the right track.

I know he is somewhat flavour of the month but the football De Zerbi's Brighton play is absolutely amazing. I can't resist wanting him here if he gets us playing like that.
Agree - and people talk alot of it being down to Potter. I don't remember Mitoma starting much for him. Would he have brought through Ferguson and Enciso? March has been there for a while but is 10x the player now than he was under GP. Also the amount of shots they have/ goals they score could not be more different. De Zerbi should get a significant amount of credit for this Brighton team - his stamp is firmly in place.

Big news coming out of Spurs in their managerial search. Arne Slot is not being considered as a candidate for the vacant head coach post and the club insist they have not met with him and do not intend to.

People were excited by Mourinho and Conte. Just saying.
Excited that it might have meant a change in approach by the way the club operated. Turned out not the be the case, so we are going back to what was working before we tried to be something we're not.
