The fact that this is already talking about transfer targets when we still don't have a DoF does suggest to me that we might not even be looking anymore. I know its just one article but I can completely see the club ether putting it on hold or ignoring it all together for this window at least. Especially as Ange is known for being quite specific over targets.
Been thinking similar things.
Maybe we promote our head scout chap to head of recruitment or something and he works closely with Ange on who we look for, with Munn signing thing off.
Can't remember his name but iirc he was brought in by Fab and seems to be pretty highly rated.

As long as we keep Levy away from it all, that'll do for me!

Not impressed with the process or choice of manager. However I wish the fella good luck (he is going to need it) & hope he is a roaring success. I also hope Levy removes himself from any footballing matters, I also hope for world peace but that ain't going to happen either!

Players I think will absolutely excel under him: Richy, Bissouma, Bryan, Deki, Porro. Seem capable of that quick attacking flair he wants.

Players Levy will expect him to make world beaters; Dier, Davies, Sanches, Skipp, Hojberg, Winks, Lo Ceslo, Reguilon, Ndombele, other welsh lad, Lenglet... etc etc

Since when did Vega appoint himself as a man who should be listened to?
You'd think with how bad a defender he actually was he would have a bit more self awareness.
He's as much entitled to an opinion as you are. Not sure anyone's questioning how good a defender you were for Tottenham tbh.

I really can’t wait to see the Ange Era once it truly kicks into gear.

I can almost guarantee that we will have some bad results early on as the players adjust to his playstyle/system, as that has happened at most of his clubs, but I hope everyone shows some patience and accepts this as much as they can and the rewards could be brilliant.
Fans will need to remember that we had some bad results early under Poch:
0-3 v Liverpool
0-1 v West Brom
1-2 v Stoke
1-2 v Newcastle
0-0 v Palace

Those were all home games in the first few months of the season.

The aim has to be to be entertained along the way and finish the season as a better team than we started it. Hopefully that would be enough to get us back into Europe too.

Maybe just maybe Ange was always the first choice or it was a straight shootout between him and Slot. If he was there was no way they would make that public and there was zero chance he would leave before the season was up

Talking to JN was just an opportunist move and everyone else I now think was just noise.
