I totally get why people might be resistant to the idea of appointing Ange, but I defy anyone to watch this and still believe that he doesn’t deserve this chance in the Premier League.
I think it’s hard not to like him (aside from one post match CL press conference where he came across as a prick) as he generally comes across well but not sure I watched that and thought he deserves a premier league shot let alone with a club of our standing. I’m sure there’s plenty of managers with similar CVs you could say the same for.

He’s got his chance though so fair play to him. Hope he smashes it and, more importantly, is given the tools he needs to thrive.

Just waiting now for a statement from the club (and a bit of ITK to back it up) that Ange was the top target right from the start.

I'm just looking forward to some brave football compared to the boring, cowardly shite we've had for years. I just hope we can attract the quality of players we need for an extensive rebuild and that Levy doesn't block any business. Just for once, trust the bloke you've given the job to.

Half expecting it to go tits up now I've said that.

With a zero net spend :)

This must be a good day coming judging by the vitriol being thrown at Spurs on Twitter by every weirdo in the twittersphere. It’s like an instinct to every social incompetent with a phone and half an interest in football, to virtually take a dump on the Spurs threads living room carpet and sniff the knickers in the Spurs laundry basket. Trust me, it’s going to be a good day.

To be honest, if Chelsea or Arsenal appointed this guy I think we’d all be laughing our collective arses off. Hopefully we’ll have the last laugh but let’s not pretend that we’re any different to any other set of football fans.

Those of you with good knowledge of Anges tactics, which players coming back from loan could revive their careers at Spurs?

Tell me about it 🤣🤦🏼‍♂️....had good chunks on both Nagelsmann & Slot at lovely prices. Did I have a penny on Ange?! Did I fuck! 🤣

I had a tenner on Ange the day after Munn was appointed at 25/1, only other bet I did was a tenner on Slot so I’ll be very happy when it’s announced 🤑

He has attacking 8s required to join the attack. So I think lo celso personally. None of the others really. I doubt regs would do the tucked in full back role.

Enjoying the positivity.

Michael Bridge tweeted earlier that his leave has been cancelled and he’s live from the training ground tomorrow morning. So it must be happening at some point tomorrow.
Well am training at the training ground so i may see this 🤣

It’s not laughter or banter - read it wearing rubber gloves and wellies. Sir David Attenborough could probably explain it better. I do know it usually means they’re not sure if it’s a good thing or not - a bit like us but not in a good way.

Personally hope we actually back him. I am not talking crazy money, just a high squad churn.

It has got stale and we need that fresh slate. Sure it is a risk and it could be disjointed but I think it’s needed.

Players in to fit his system and let’s see how we go. Could be a busy summer.
