I've finally watched the obligatory YouTube video, I can't say that I'm impressed. He seems to give the ball away a lot, snatches at shots etc. He is like a poor man's kulusevski. A very poor man's kulusevski! But without the end product in terms of goals and assists.

Yes he has some physical attributes, but he isn't what we need imo. We need a creative 10 that unpick defences and tease defenders out of their shape.

What are we paying 40 or so million for a player that from what I can see will struggle to get game time and doesn't offer anything that we don't have already?

Many posters set great store by having 6 CB's to cover 3 positions. Seems to me we need 6 attackers for similar reasons, at the moment we have 4/5 given that Moura may well be used as a RWB, as much as a forward. Don't know much about Zaniolo but its obvious that Kulu is not going to play every game, and the former appears to be as close to him as we are likely to find. If we need to switch to 3-5-2 we can tuck Kulu in behind Kane and Son. The big Swede claims it is his best position.

Conte is a world class manager, im a 48 year old school teacher, clearly he knows far more about what our team needs than I do. But does that need pointing out? Does that mean I can't express my perfectly reasonable opinion based on what I've seen of the player?
